This place was newly renovated which make it good to stay. They should have alternate breakfast like one day bacons and the next day sausages. Oh, there is a place call east meet west a Thai and American restaurant. They have a menu in our room and when I called to order the price changes. They claim that the menu... More

Good choice for one night stay to visit Sequoia NP. Check in not particularly friendly but room was above average looking as if it was recently decorated. Room has small table and two chairs which we used to eat a take away from the Pizza place in town. Hot breakfast available in morning and usual breakfast items. Small issue with... More

Sure there are places closer to the park, but you will not go wrong staying here. The pool was refreshing after a long day of switchback roads and tall redwood trees. You are about 45 minutes from the park, then another 40 minutes to get to the central tree area. The hotel was quiet and clean with nice towels (thick... More

I was very satisfied with my stay at Best Western. I had brought my friend all the way from Ukraine and was showing her around California. We stayed in Exeter for a couple of nights and she was very pleased with the hotel stay. I think the only thing we could note is that the breakfast was served only until... More

We spent one night as a layover on our way to Wuksachi Lodge in Sequoia National Park (don't bother staying at Wuksachi!). We were happy in every respect other than the price charged for the room. We had booked for $119 but got charged $125. Not a big deal but was surprised by what I consider bait and switch. Other... More

My wife and I stayed here after visiting Sequoia. Hotel is very close once you get down out of the foothills of the Sierras. Although Exeter is a fairly small town, the hotel was within close proximity to food in Exeter and nearby Visalia. The rooms were somewhat above average. The hotel seems fairly new but you can tell that... More

I wanted our family to appreciate a true small-town, unpretentious, farming community because we needed a "new normal" for our vacation centered on nature and simplicity. The advantages of this hotel over hotels in Visalia and Three Rivers are not only the cost, cleanliness, and proximity to Sequoia National Park, but also the view of the historic orange orchards on... Everything at the Hotel was fabulous. I did miss the fact that there was no restaurant within walking distance. Buy the town of Exeter is only minutes drive away and they have a variety of eateries. You wouldn't think something this nice would be here amid acres of Orange groves. We were able to drive to and all through Sequoia... More

It was just "Okay" for a small town hotel. The mattress was initially okay and then became uncomfortable after a couple hours of sleep. There were no surprises for a continental breakfast. The only thing hot was the coffee.

Very nice and clean motel. The rooms were fairly large and the beds quite comfortable. Pool was great for children. The motel was close to Sequoia National Park. There are a number of good restaurants in the area. We would stay at this location again. Excellent value for your money!
