We stayed here as a stopping point between a Washington - San Francisco road trip. It was great! The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient. The room was bigger than expected, and thankfully had a mini fridge (we didn't need one, but it helped tremendously with our road trip snacks)! Definitely could use a bit of an update... More

Thanks Wil for the best stay in CA. You and your staff were very helpful and pleasant. Your free breakfast was good and had a variety to choose from. The breakfast room was very clean and neat. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and loved all the pillows. Enjoyed having a recliner in the room, it... More

We stayed one night in this Quality Inn within a couple of blocks of the lovely Old Town here. We were pleasantly surprised to find a clean and comfortable room with two very large beds and everything a more expensive hotel would provide. The breakfast was basic but good with hot food as well as cereal, fruit, toast and juice.... More

Noisy (right of highway), stained carpet and bedspread, low battery on smoke alarm that caused it to go off in middle of night, sheets that are too small for the mattress. Really unacceptable. Low point of our entire trip.

We had a two night stay here and the room was vey comfy. Good hot shower, very good sized room. Came with coffee maker, fridge and microwave. It was a little noisy and the air conditioner didn't work well, there was a fan for the room which was very helpful. The breakfast was disappointing, only apple juice, the eggs were... More

I was very happy with this hotel and have stayed several times. The neighborhood is rough, but lets face it- most of Eureka is rough. We had always stayed at the Hotel Arcata for it's old time charm, but the noise on the plaza in Arcata is outrageous and their beds aren't very comfortable. Decided to try the Quality Inn,... More

We had a suite and we were back in the corner on the 2nd floor. It would be fine with no a/c if we could get a breeze going. But that didn't happen in our corner room. And the a/c isn't just for cooling down the room - it is for getting that stuffy yucky hotel smell out of the... More

We just left a beautiful hotel room in Newport, OR - clean, current, and inviting - and pulled in to Quality Inn, Eureka for which we paid the same exact price. What a stark and alarming difference! The paint on the ceiling in our bathroom was literally peeling off, the furniture was old and abused, the desk chair in this... More

I stay in hotels throughout N. California and S. Oregon 60-80 nights a year, generally in Comfort and Quality Inns. The Quality Inn on the south end of town where I usually stay was booked so I took a chance. The road noise, the bums, the junkies, the fighting and yelling on the street, etc; made it nearly impossible to... More

I have been staying here for years when on business in or going thru eureka. The staff, including Front Desk, Breakfast Room Attendant, and Housekeeping have always been very helpful and friendly. This is an older motel that has had some minor updates. The neighborhood is not very good but I have never had a problem with that regard. The... More
