When we checked in they were not very friendly and gave us a room which was in the corner. The window of this room looked to the wall of an other room. So when we went in at 3 pm we had to put the lights on. It was very dark. We only stayed over the night so we didn´t... more

This is a very good place to stay in Eureka. The room is clean and well-equipped and breakfast is good. It is well-situated for getting on the road quickly in the morning. more

We have stayed in other places in Eureka in the past, and this was our best money spent here yet! Our 2 bedroom family suite was surprisingly affordable! The room was nice. Not the best view, but oh well. This was the most comfortable bed I have EVER slept in - EVER! If I could buy that mattress, I would!... more

I'm trying to come up with something to say about the rooms at the Best Western Bayshore Inn, but they're just so vanilla. I guess that's OK, as they were comfortable enough. Could use an update though... at least a flatscreen TV. The pool area is very pretty, in contrast... high ceilings, hot tub and indoor/outdoor pool. The location is... more

Eureka was just an overnight stop for me on a road trip from San Francisco to Portland. The city itself isn't an attraction, but it makes a great place to stop on the way along the Northwest coast. As a Best Western goes this one is top notch. Rooms were very clean and the courtyard is quiet. I had an... more

The location of this hotel was disappointing. It may be on a bay, but between the hotel and bay is an industrial area. Our room was just okay, except the beds were incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was good. The "indoor" pool was partially indoors and partially outdoors with a half wall separating them, making it too cold to swim. The... more

My spouse & I came up to Humboldt County from the Bay Area this summer to visit family. I should also mention that we have a 6 year old son as well. My husband booked a room 2 weeks in advance. When we arrived (approx. 7 pm) we were told that the room we had requested (family suite with fireplace)... more

I spent eight nights in the new wing of this motel in a king room (not a suite) with a view of the bay. The weather was sunny and the fresh air and the view of the bay and sound of the seabirds from my deck were delightful. The room was very quiet and spacious and, as others have mentioned,... more

My husband and I were making the drive from Seattle to San Francisco and decided at the last minute to take highway 101 instead of I-5. Didn't really love the location of the hotel (at the very south end of town, near nothing really, but it was quiet!), but that's the only bit I could find to complain about. We... more

The Bayshore was a real surprise. We had booked a room with a jacuzzi, but weren't prepared for the spacious, well appointed room. I can't think of a thing that would have made it better. We were in the adults only section of the hotel, which had it's own courtyard. While you can go to the main lobby breakfast room... more
