Weary from driving past midnight, we arrived at the Travelodge in Eureka exhausted and ready to sleep. Using the night window to check in, we were directed to our upstairs room. Immediately upon entering the room, my daughter told me it was "doggie". My sense of smell is limited and I could not smell the odor. I suggested that we... More

We arrived to find this motel older and in need of obvious repair and a good cleaning. The lobby is tiny and the front desk staff seemed untrained and not very responsive to guests. We booked a room with 2 queen beds but received a room with one queen and one full bed, which we found very odd. Also odd... More

Car lost belt on 101, talk about scary. Managed to locate a phone, as our cells had no signal, to call AAA. Tow truck brought us to a AAA auto shop. Owner of auto shop recommended this motel as he knew the owner. Checked in. Met the very friendly owner. Room was clean, bedsheets were crisp, carpet was clean, bathroom... More

We checked several hotels before decided to stay in this one. The price was very reasonable, and the room was decent with new flat screen TV and clean beds. The front desk staff was exceptionally friendly too. For $70, we were quite happy with our choice.

Okay so it wasn't the worst place I've ever stayed in, but it wasn't the best either. The rooms were clean, the bathrooms are kind of run down, the shower heads are pretty short for my 5'8" height. I kind of had to do a back bend to get all my head under the spray. Other than that...not too bad.... More

This motel is in a good location, but is very run down and needs help. The bathroom was moldy and had electrical switches that continually shorted out, the room had a "funky" odor, and the beds were very hard and uncomfortable (the pillows were good, however). Fresh paint, better lighting and fixing the electrical issues would be a great start.... More

Finding a cheap place to stay that doesn't feel like a crime magnet in Eureka is tough. While the rooms in this place aren't especially great, the price is reasonable and it feels like the safest budget motel in the city. It's right on 101, very close to downtown. There is a fair amount of traffic noise, and I only... More
