Pretty clean and I'm happy that they accommodated us with short notice. Pro: friendly staff. 2 sinks in bathroom. Spacious room. Con: very poor WiFi. Refrigerator didn't work. Breakfast is NOT an option if you book with AAA.

I've stayed here a number of times for business trips over the years but not in the last two years or so. In the past, I always liked that I could count on their consistency of cleanliness, comfort and security. However, my recent stay here is easily forgettable and has me questioning whether I will return. Check in was quick... More

The rooms were well-sized and quiet, and the beds were comfortable. The outdoor pool is heated and there is also a small hot tub. The breakfast buffet was very good. There are lots of folks here on bus tours, so the breakfast buffet can be a little crowded. Overall, a good deal.

Room and location was good, parking excellent. What prompted me to write a review was the graciousness and uptone willingness of the front office staff. We had several questions about the area and things to do and they absolutely went out of their way to help and be friendly. I wish I could recall names but everyone we dealt with... More

Due to unforeseen family events, have stayed 3 separate occasions at the Eureka Red Lion since May (twice in July). Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Last trip meet the General Manager in lobby and was surprised to be greeted directly by him and working hard along the side of his staff. Good team work! Facility is definitely 70's style... More

This hotel was nice. It has a lot of bus tours booked in it so can be very busy. Free Parking. You need to go elsewhere for food. It was very quiet for the amount of people that were staying at this hotel. CLEAN -- always a key for me. We stayed on what they call the garden area. I... More

We've stayed in Eureka several times -- as a jumping off point for the coast and Prairie Creek park to the north. This was our first time at the Red Lion after reading on TripAdvisor about the deterioration of our last place. We found the Red Lion to be great! Although our room was in the front, ground floor it... More

This is a decent hotel. Nothing out of the ordinary, but a nice clean, quiet hotel. I guess that says a lot. We were traveling with a group of about forty people. We were checked in and in our rooms in a timely manner. The room was fine. Everything in order. Had a nice buffet for breakfast. Had a nice... More

A very nice room with usual amenities and the best shower water pressure we have found in ages. Also, there are two separate sinks; one in the bathroom and one just outside. The bedroom rug is a little worn. We found a number of interesting restaurants in the center city and many beautiful old buildings that been well kept or... More
