I don't typically write solely negative reviews but this I couldn't let fall by the waist side. I was very disappointed in this motel. The walls are thin, the bathroom was unsanitary at best, and there seemed to be a strange scratching noise coming from somewhere in my room throughout the night. This place needs some serious overhauling if the... more

We needed a place to stay one night while traveling through... got a room with two doubles,; it had a microwave & frig (didn't use), coffeemaker, for $88 including tax. It was a little run down but clean. That's about all I can say ... wouldn't be my choice for any kind of extended stay or comfort. more

We get bonus points with our credit card, so we usually stay at a Choice hotel (Comfort Inn, Sleep Inn, Econo Lodge, etc.) wherever we stay on vacation, and usually with decent results. However, I can say, without a doubt, that this was the worst motel I've ever stayed at. The room was very, very small. The cable TV only... more

I recently had to relaocate to the eureka,ca area and was stuck in a hotel for over a week looking for a new home. I ended up lodging at the econolodge in eureka downtown area. I must admit the overcast weather and constant fog gave me a bad taste of the place at first, but after checking in I went... more

Filthy, stinky, bath mat black , soap was dirty & sticky when I opened it. Could not shower as the bathroom was too filthy. Needed one after I got out of there though. The kicker was when we went to bed and turned back covers, one bed had a pillow case that was full of black whatever? Called the office... more

Hotels.com rated this as a 3 Star!!!!- In fact it was an absolute dump- Dirty, smelling, tired, and in poor location. We were accosted by a drunk in parking lot while checking in. Do not stay here. Not even 1/2 a star. more

We have cats and needed a cheap hotel that allowed pets. The Econo Lodge met those two requirements. However, in the end we were disappointed by the noisy location of the hotel and the condition of the room. The hotel is bordered on three sides by large streets (HWY-101 & another major byway). The sounds of cars and motorcycles accellerating... more

Very old and worn rooms -- room stunk like wet dog -- carpet was gross. Manager called at 10:30pm to say he would charge for an extra room, even though it had already been released (he didn't charge). Only plus was indoor heated pool. more

My wife has a medical condition that requires her to have air conditioning. The room that we were assigned had an air conditioner that would blow air but would not cool. We were given another room and this air conditioner would not blow any air at all. When we asked for a third room we were told that none were... more
