We only stayed one night but really liked the stay. To manage expectations, there's nothing fancy about the rooms as they are standard motel fare, but they are clean and well kept. The staff was very helpful in giving us tips on Eureka and the surrounding national/state parks. The layout of this place gives it a unique feel and the... More

While we found our room to be clean, this is an old motel and it shows. The rooms are small and the bathroom is tiny. There is no tub, only a small shower. There is not much of a vanity to speak of. Only one plugin in the bathroom. The rooms are on an upper floor and there is no... More

My husband and and I booked this place over the net and were initially a bit concerned since we are accustomed to staying in the cookie cutter establishments. We also brought our children with us so we wanted to be safe. When we arrived, I was immediately taken back by the friendly and professional dressed gal in the lobby. She... More

Thank you Angela K for taking the time to share your kind words. You are completely correct in that we are a family owned and operated property for nearly 40 years! We assure you that your stay with us was truly appreciated by our family, and not some "corporate goon" as you put it. It is one of the aspects... More

On our way home decided to stop and stay the night and stopped here. The staff was nice and the room was a great price. The rooms are upstairs with the parking lot under the rooms. The parking lot is small but I liked that I didn't have to park my car on the side of the street. The room... More

We stayed here overnight while seeing the redwoods and we happen to be pleasantly surprised with the property. It's older, yes, but its clean, safe, and there are plenty of local attractions which you can go to in walking distance. We especially enjoyed some of the restaurants that the courteous lady in the lobby recommended. One recommendation I would make... More

We recently stayed at the Town House and wanted to give them a review so others can share in our good experience. For the price, it was a bargain. This place has a lot of character and the service, cleanliness and location make this place a 5 star experience. There are many good restaurants in walking distance and some superb... More

We came to Eureka for a family emergency and had just booked one night. We usually stay in one of the higher priced hotels when we come to town to visit but since this was a quick trip we decided to try the Town House. We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the room and the friendliness of the... More

I've been eager to review this place (and this says a lot because I'm not one to write reviews). I had a GREAT experience staying at the Town House Motel. The staff was friendly, VERY clean rooms, and the bed was extremely comfortable. What set this place over the top for me was how eager the staff was to make... More

Initially motel and room looked fine...especially seeing the price I would say...Our room was a 2 queen bed set...the inner room was stinky but we still tried to manage it as we checked in very late and had to leave very next day...but the worst part was yet to come early morning...our room was right next to laundry room...someone started... Every couple of years I make a trip to Eureka, and I always stay at the Town House Motel. The courteous owner always remembers me and treats me well. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, the wi-fi connection is solid, the location is great, and the prices are affordable. By far the best inexpensive motel in the city.
