This motel has an interesting design: You park downstairs and have a room upstairs. Getting to the room is OK, but the room itself is very nice. The bath has been remodeled at some point. The room was a little tight because it had 2 beds, but it wasn't bad. The location is not great, but having the cop shop... More

Stayed here for two nights and each night the room had a different not-so-pleasant smell. The first night was some kind of industrial cleaner and the second was a dry cleaning plant odor. Kept the window open each night to get rid of the smell and as a result, heard way too much from street-life people on the near-by sidewalk... More

Stayed here as an overnight stop during our road trip down the 101. First impression of the room was a strange funk coming from the bathroom and the carpet was in bad need of replacement, you're better off leaving your shoes on, to keep the grime and old gum off your feet. The bathroom was quite nice and spacious. Two... More

We stayed here twice and were pleasantly surprised. We knew this wasn't a new place (from TripAdvisor reviews) but it is well taken care of and very comfortable. There was never a hint of safety being an issue and on both occasions - the first time the owner and the second time his son- were extremely hospitable and the perfect... More

I have stayed at the Town House many times over the last 6 years. I have never had a bad experience. The owners and staff are very friendly and they keep their facility clean. The rooms include a mini refridg, a microwave and coffee maker. The attached, covered parking is convenient. The location is great. You are blocks from the... More

Nothing too special, but reasonably priced for overpriced Eureka, and reasonably pleasant. I've had good interactions with the staff on a couple occasions, and in general it's a clean, quiet and adequate kind of place. Just what you'd hope for from a little motel in a little town. Bonus: the steakhouse downstairs (unaffiliated with the motel) is surprisingly good and... More

We've tried several motels in Eureka, and this is the first one I'd go back to. The staff was friendly and efficient. The room was clean. They have also put a lot of effort into security and have a private parking area that is video monitored. My only downgrade is the fact that there are definitely some areas that could... More

Over priced property - almost felt like a motel in the 70s. Everything about this place is old. There was no air conditioning. There was a fan in the room that had not been cleaned in years. The bathroom was clean but old. There is no elevator. Parking was a challenge. If you check in late, you will have to... More

Over priced older property that is far past it's prime. The bathroom was clean and that's the nicest thing we can say. Carpet was old and stained. Bed was not comfortable-- not close. Parking is a challenge. Bums around. We should have paid $30 more and got a nicer place.

From the very time we arrived,we could tell this place was taken care of. The parking area was very clean and well maintained. The gentleman at the front desk, who I assumed was the owner, was a superb host. After a quick check in, he offered us maps, info anything we might need to make our visit to Eureka a... More
