It may look a bit odd and worn from the outside, but the rooms are spacious, the furniture is good, the beds are great and the shower is the best we experienced on this trip so far. The manager(?) really made a difference: he turned Eureka from a highway town into a town full of hidden gems. We followed his... More

I stayed at the Town House Motel for two night. It is an older motel but very well maintained and the staff really wants you to be comfortable and they really care about their customers. The room was clean, the shower was very good and the bed was absolutely the more comfortable I've ever tried during my one month journey... More

I agree it is cheap, it is not the newest (but not run down). The surrounding area is not promising - hey but it is safe, maybe the safest location in town (to front the prison). But this hotel have all i need: - very clean room - a bed - good working WLAN (not like other big chains) and... More

Thanks Peter N for your truthful review. We appreciate you rating us for the price you paid. It is unfair to compare our budget friendly facility to the 5 star hotels that are obviously able to offer many more amenities than THM. However, for customers like yourself who require a comfortable bed, strong WI-FI, and a VERY clean room, we... More

We stay at the Town House Motel a couple nights ago. While it is an older motel it is quite well maintained and the staff was very accommodating. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was very good. The room was not exceptionally large but was well heated. If you are looking for fancy this is... More

Staff really wants you to be comfortable and they really care about their customers. They are very nice and very clean! The rooms were very nice! White sheets! Showers were nice. It could get noisy if someone was walking around outside. Just because its closed in and echoes a little. But I really enjoyed my stay here!

Found the hotel based on reviews here, and was quite satisfied with my stay. The rooms are clean and kitchy - lamps and wallpaper have a older feel, but go well with the hotel. I loved the bright colors. The wall-heater brought back memories, and kept my room cozy in the cold. Great service at the front desk - recommendations on... More

We booked this hotel for 2 nights in November, based upon the Trip Advisor Reviews and photos which noted it was ok - hence going ahead and booking. We arrived and were a little uncertain about the location - the car park was not secure and there were a lot of people around. We went ahead and checked in -... More

EuroTravellers19, we are extremely disheartened to read your poor review. However, it seems that you have left out quite a few pertinent facts of your "story". After you and your boyfriend completed the check-in process for 2 nites, you proceeded to stay in the room for 1-2 hours. Thereafter, you came downstairs to inform the manager that you miscalculated how... More

I was looking at motels in the Eureka area on the "Boulevard" downtown and came across this very nice and competitively priced motel. I found this motel to be more than adequate for cost and cleanliness. The location is situated close to downtown shopping and perfect if your destination is Lost Coast Brewery (3 blocks away). There is a bar... More

I just drove 2000 miles through Northern CA and Southern OR and this was my favorite cheap hotel. What's a little odd is I can't really say why. It was clean and charming in it's retro style but I think the owners really take pride in their motel as if felt really homey, especially for being right on a busy... More
