Really clean, well kept suite with excellent amenities. A courteous, friendly staff that were welcoming and helpful. Good parking spaces. The hotel is lacated near a busy highway, so light sleepers may be affected, especially during the early morning rush hour. Nonetheless the Bayview Motel is my choice for future stay in Hombolt county.

When I arrived it was at night in December so even with my navigator, I drove right by. The sign is small, close to the ground, not lit and between two residential houses. I followed the road between the houses to the office. It was a bit strange to be checked in inside a home family room but one of... More

Excellent lodging at good rate. Stayed here 12-15 years ago in a mid-century motel building. Same owners demolished that and built a well-designed replacement. Large rooms thoughtfully arranged, each with Bay view and outside patio/porch. Location abuts residential neighborhood, on a hill above US101 across from Bayshore Mall. Din of traffic below not bothersome. Must drive to restaurants a few... More

Not much to say. Location is great. Room was great. Rate was great. Nothing fancy about the hotel but it is clean and comfy. And the owners are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend staying there over the low end chains in town which charged the same price. Only complaint was that the room was a bit noisy with... More

If you must make a stop-over in Eureka, I'd recommend this place. After a long day of driving the 101, and a fair portion of it in the thick Humboldt Fog, this motel made for a good night's rest before heading back out onto the road to the Redwoods. We chose the motel via Tripadvisor and used the app to... More

Stayed here at recommendation of Trip Advisor. Good choice - simple place run by nice people. Nice touches, such as good quality linens. Owners gave good advice on restaurant, which I'll review separately. Would definitely stay here again.

The reviews are all pretty right on. This is an older motel, but still very well maintained. The rooms are larger than average, very clean and more than adequate for a stay in Eureka. Cute little patio out a back door with a view overlooking the highway and the shops across the street. There is some highway noise, but it... More

Eureka is a great little town to visit, it's downtown is a happening and being turned into a great spot to shop and eat. The town doesn't have many places to stay that have any views. This little motel, two story is clean, functional and has a nice view of Humbolt Bay, it's just off the main street into downtown... More

This was a terrific little place to stay on our way down the Pacific coast. The rooms have a front and back door. You can go out the one door and sit on the small patio. It's nice because it is set up on a hill and you dont see the street below. The only bad thing is that there... More

This is an older hotel, but very well maintained. It was clean and comfortable. The people who run this hotel are very nice and hospitable. The motel is set up high and you overlook the town and the bay. I felt very relaxed there.
