I travel with a small dog. This was a splurge for me but I figured I am on vacation. Even my dog got her own towel and pooper scooper bags. Loved this motel more

This is a clean little establishment with large rooms. The proprietors are very nice and like dogs. We all like dogs. The hotel sits literally on top of HWY 101. It is NOISY beyond belief. The view is one of a distant bay with a cement factory in the middle of it. There is no breakfast or lobby coffee service.... more

Appreciated reading the reviews and decided to try this beautiful inn. Easy access on and off Hwy 101, also to restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Gracious staff met every need. Very attentive. Comfy for pets. Quiet. Great views of Humboldt Bay from our back porch, watched salmon boats heading out. I would recommend this place to almost everyone (although after years... more

Stayed here tonight.... when we opend our patio door we were dissapointed. It is directly on the hill looking over HWY 101. Very busy HWY with lot of noise. The room price did not reflect this annoyance. Although the noise level decreases throughout the night it is still very noticable in the room while trying to sleep. The room is... more

This was our second time at the Bayview. The rooms are large, well maintained and very clean. It's a family operation (second generation) and their attention to detail really shows. Our room had a nice view of the harbor and a balcony. This may not be the Four Seasons, but it's hard to beat in Eureka. more

I really liked this hotel, the room was so clean, it was like we were the first to be staying there. Real attention to detail and a real perk for us that it was a dog friendly motel. I loved that it had a door at both ends of the room just for air circulation. The people at the office... more

We stayed at the Bayview Motel while on vacation and was pleasantly surprised with the room. The rooms look newly remodeled and are big and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. Due to the location it is noisy at night but I slept with earplugs and slept just fine. I would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay.... more

I sit in Eureka's Bayview Motel as I write. It is Saturday night June 6, 2009. This is a lovely motel and up until this afternoon, we loved it. It's clean, has large well-designed rooms, is a bit noisy from Hwy 101, which runs directly below the bluff that the Bayview Motel sits on- but we got used to it.... more

Nice spot on hilltop! Stayed for overnight while traveling. Great surprise!! Good internet. Large clean rooms, great bed, great shower, great view and balcony - wow! Friendly family owned business, very nice polite staff. No problem with noise during my stay. This is next best thing to staying on the coast. Stop here for a great overnight! more

My husband, daughter, her two miniature poodles, and I were visiting the Redwoods National Park and decided to stay in Eureka. Upon entering the town, we saw the Bayview and decided to try it because the building looked very pretty and unique. When checking us in, the owner was extremely friendly and shared his knowledge of some local sites. As... more
