We've been looking for a park 'less-lively' on the weekends in the Temecula area than where we usually stay. I'd read reviews that this park had been seriously renovated. It really has. We stayed in one of the upper levels. Full sun exposure (unlike the sites nestled in the valley) but also no satellite interference. In our area, parking was... More

We were surprised by the tiered levels of RV spots. We had a site on the third level that was concrete and spacious! We enjoyed walking around the three lakes with our dog. It was great to have trash and recycling receptacles all around and very handy. While the speed limit is said to be 10mph it wasn't always observed... More

We stayed 3 months at this RV park and loved it BUT, when you check out, be very aware of your refund amounts. We were, unfortunately, charged twice for our power usage. I believe this occurred when we had to change sites due to a long term returnee who requested our specific spot. The people are still very nice and... More

Very nice rv park. This park is quite isolated except for the freeway noise from a half mile away you are out in the country. The nearest stores are miles away so plan ahead. There was a store on site but it has closed. All sites are concrete pads and the roads are paved. The site is protected at night... More

Traveling to Southern California as part of our retirement. California campgrounds are frequently iffy but this place met all our expectations. We are close to family and can easily reach lots of typical vacation activities. This campground has a lot of long-term to permenant residents. The grounds are very nicely laid out and well-kept and it is very quiet here.... More

Initially thought we would be there maybe a month or two. However, after being there a few short weeks, we had met so many new friends that we did not want to leave. The office staff and CJ all seemed to go out of their way to take care of any concerns. Vey clean facilities. Close enough to the beaches... More

I am heading back home to Montana in a few days after a peaceful two month stay here. I had a very nice, private full hookup site with fire ring right over one of the small lakes. The geese and duck are so relaxing and fun to watch. The trees are trimmed and shaped and beautiful. The owner/manager, C.J., is... More

My wife and I spent two nights in our RV at Champagne Lakes over the Thanksgiving weekend and found it very enjoyable. The location, although just off of the I-15, has an isolated and peaceful feeling to it. My wife loves bird watching and really enjoyed the ducks, geese, cranes and hawks. She even had the chance to cast a... More

I stayed from 11/10 to 3/11 and found Champagne Lakes to be a very nice snowbird destination. The park is older put the owner C.J. is improving the park constantly. Problems that I encountered (there were only two) were handled immedietly and to my satisfaction. The park itself is very pretty with its 3 small lakes, catch and release fishing,... More
