My dad stayed at Motel 6's when he when he worked and traveled for Pacific Northwest Bell for 42 years before retiring, now AT & T. In those days a Motel 6 was 6 bucks. On family vacations no surprise guess where we stayed? And now that I am an old man a second generation of a loyal customer. On... More

Really nice hotel, stayed for a week and had no problem. WiFi is decent. Service is great, really nice people. Pool is clean and decent sized. Rooms are clean but the bathtubs could use some refurbishment. My suggestion would be adding a Microwave and Small Refrigerator to the rooms. That sums it up. For the price, its very good.

The location isn't the greatest. This place definitely needs an upgrade, seriously. The beds were uncomfortable and not a regular queen size, more like full size beds. The comforter on the beds had dirt spots on it. I'm glad there's no carpeting but the floor still felt as if it wasn't swept or swift properly. This was my 1st and... More

We went to Escondido to visit family and visit the coast. When we arrived we were warned not to stay at Motel 6 because it was dirty due to the homeless and the prostitution in the area. We figured "how bad could it be?" We would soon find out that the area was not that bad and our biggest problem... More

Overall the rooms appear to be clean. If you look closely you wil find human or dog hair. According to the staff all rooms have been completely refurbished. No more carpets but now cheap vanier wood flooring. My observation from cleaning is that it is poor. The hair in random places is every were. Just look closely. I took a... More

Started off just looking for a low price hotel to spend the weekend and was very surprise when I got there not only was the price low but the room was very clean as well as the bathroom, the hotel rooms seems like they have been refurbish. I have to say I like it. The only draw back is no... More

Poor management attitude from the Top. The staff was rude and dishonest. Terrible hotel, bad location and the rooms are not the cleanest. WARNING: The night security guard is a pervert. Very rude and borderline aggressive too. Spend your money somewhere else...honestly.

I stay in Motel 6's because I travel with dogs...this place was gross...seriously gross. I spent two nights there ONLY because I was teaching 2 blks away....NEVER AGAIN. I think there was a hooker next to me and what appeared to be drug deals going out the front of the motel...bad location, bad neighborhood...very scary.

Yes--it's Motel 6 and we all know that means NO FRILLS. The location near major streets, the highway and scores of restaurants, fast-food, and stores makes the location great if you are on your way across or up and down California. The building looks nice and I thought the neighborhood seemed like a good one since we were surrounded by... More

Did not feel safe here, worried about our new car parked here, had to call mgmt at 1 AM due to yelling and screaming next room, (our room fee was refunded due to these issues). Room was very shabby and did not feel clean, also smoking smell was strong. Blanket on bed was horrible-looking. TV remote did not work. Very... More
