The Inn was lovely, private, romantic, and peaceful. We stayed in the Penthouse and enjoyed the hot tub and delicious breakfasts on our deck. The decor was warm and inviting, well kept and clean. Extras such as wireless internet and ice cubes were available. The hummingbirds were plentiful and beautiful. The train was there but in this my first visit... More

This is probably the best place to stay in Encinitas, but I have one complaint. I wish they'd renovate the bathrooms. Even little fixes like new shower heads & faucets would help. More

We sure had a great time here on our three day visit. Close to wineries, walk to the beach, great local restaurants interesting shops. We really liked the nice breakfast with fresh fruit plate each morning. Really good fresh bakery items too. Nice comfortable room. Not fancy, but comfortable. Beach chairs, umbrellas, etc all available. Truly nice people, too. More

We just returned from a few days in Encinitas where we stayed in the Penthouse Suite at the Inn at Moonlight Beach. The suite was very well appointed with a very comfortable bed and a nice balconey including a hot tub with a partial view of the ocean. We enjoyed every minute of our stay, loving both Encinitas and the... More

We stayed at the Inn for 4 nights with our daughters while visiting family nearby. Ann was very accommodating and made us feel at home. The room was very clean and spacious especially with 4 of us sharing the same room. Breakfast was delicious - something different each day. We will have very fond memories of our time at Moonlight... I found the Inn at Moonlight Beach looking for a place to stay for a trip to San Diego. While I initially was looking for a place closer to the heart of downtown San Diego, I chose this place because of the great reviews and its proximity to the beach - and I'm glad I did! It was great for... More

It was my wife's birthday. We had just spent 2 days in downtown San Diego, touring the city, and wanted something comfy and away from the hustle for our last night. I wanted to stay in the Penthouse, but its very difficult to book that room for a single night, so we ended up in Sea Breeze. Its a quaint... More

Me and my girlfriend came to the Moonlight Inn for a relaxed weekend and for the opportunity for me to "pop the question." We had the time of our lives, arrived as boyfriend-girlfriend and left as engaged!!! I knew this place would do the trick!!! Thanks again Ann & Terry for a great weekend we will both never forget:-) Ted... More
