Our purpose for staying at this hotel was its proximity to the Emeryville Amtrak station for our ride home to Reno on the California Zephyr. We had a regular room; not the kitchen suite, and the price was reasonable. While the room was clean, the bed comfortable, the towels big and plush, and the complimentary breakfast quite delicious, the hotel... More

I stayed in this Hyatt property for 10 nights in mid April and my room is at the top floor 12/F. I do not reserve for the suite - instead I just reserve for a room with King Bed. The room looks good - kind-of like staying in a room in Hyatt Regency. My room is actually facing the Emeryville... More

great hotel. great service, clean and the location is pretty good although try to avoid the bay bridge going into sf. knocked it down one star for the big remodel the hotel is doing but there was no disturbance in our rooms. just that the hotel faces the train tracks so you will hear the amtrak trains coming in and... There's a lot of construction going on in the hotel lobby so it was hard to get the true experience... but rooms are well appointed with nice, glass showers. We requested a SF City View, but they were sold out so we ended up with a view overlooking the Berkeley hills and the Amtrak station, which is beautiful when the... More

Arrived at Hyatt House a half hour before check-in on Easter Sunday. Our room wasn't ready. We came back an hour later and our room still wasn't ready. After a brief wait in the lobby, the woman at the front desk upgraded us to a beautiful suite on the 10th Floor. Excellent customer service. We were on the bay side... More

Stayed here April 16 and 17. Although updating is "completed" on the upper floors, there is almost no water pressure in the shower. There is also a letter posted in the room stating that the water could be completely turned off during daytime hours. Nice time to tell you that, after you gave already checked in. Last night there was... More

First of all the hotel lobby area was under construction, which looked bad but had no other effect on my stay. Staff was friendly and breakfast was great. My room size was ok and on the top floor which had a great view. Included in the view was a train station and tracks that ran behind the hotel. Really didn't... More

S.F. Bay Area has so much to offer. Rather than stay in a city hotel amidst traffic congestion, I decided to stay over in the East Bay, a skip hop and jump to everything in the city..off rush hour traffic that is. Hyatt has reasonable prices and a decent warm breakfast buffet.

I needed a place to stay overnight for a Sunday morning business meeting that was also comfortable enough for my wife to stay with me. Hyatt House was a great choice. Since we were checking in late (1 AM following an event)... the objective was to find a place that was clean enough for my wife to be comfortable while... More

The room was really nice with kitchen and balcony separate room with beds and bathroom. The billing practices are messed up. A friend paid for the room in cash even though I held the room with my card. My credit card was charged 1700 dollars and this charge never went away. My friend is suing the Motel because of this....
