This hotel is centrally located in the Bay Area so it is easy to get anywhere. Close to the hotel are a number of great restaurants - some walking distance others a short drive or cab ride. There is also shopping close by (both retail and a grocery store for essentials). If you are a runner, you'll love this place... More

The hotel itself is nice. We had a suite that had rooms separated by doors (think Embassy Suites). There is a sink, full fridge and microwave. It was nice that my wife could sleep in while I watched TV in the other room. The breakfast was what I've come to expect from 'free-breakfast hotels'. We were on the second floor... More

My husband, myself & 2 daughters travel to SF every year for the Ghirardelli Chocolate Festival. We usually go up on Saturday, stay over, come home Sunday. But hotel prices have gotten so outrageous in SF, we haven't always been able to go. We had a 1-bedroom suite here--2 nights---for what we would have paid for ONE night in San... More

Platinum gold passport member. Paid 8000 gold passport points. Booked bay view room on high floor and received that so happy about that. Received suite with separate bedroom. But room faces west and AC was off so room very hot when entered. Turned AC on to coolest setting but poor air flow. So waited till evening and then opened all... More

We are driving home after bicycling cross country through small town USA and staying in hotels/motels for four months. Believe me when I say that the price of the room has little bearing on your hotel experience. This hotel has all the makings of a five star experience. Unfortunately, it does not deliver on that promise and I am being... More

We had a great experience at this hotel. Thanks to previous reviews, I requested a bayside room and joined Hyatt's loyalty program so we couldn't be bumped from it. Don't be drooling at the prospect of a pretty view; you're looking at the freeway, but it beats being on the train station side. With the windows open we could hear... More

Stayed here to visit some friends in the East Bay. Won't be back. On the plus side, it's reasonably new and clean, the room was well-appointed (other than the cheap & dingy towels), they had ample parking and the location was only a couple of blocks away from Bay Street, which is chock full of shops and eateries. It was,... More

Nice hotel! Friendly staff. Safe area that's not too difficult to access from major thoroughfares. Adequate parking. Goodds buffet breakfast. Onsite restaurant is decent and not too over priced. The spinach artihoke flatbread was good!

Loved the customer service, the suite was very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The backside of the hotel is Amtrak railroad, so it's a bit noisy. Includes free WiFi internet, parking and breakfast.

I normally stay within SF city area but this is a leisure trip and I don't wanna pay $50 to park my car so I picked this Hyatt house. Turned out to be a good economy choice. It has everything you'll need without the fine touches of say Park Hyatt or Grand Hyatt. I believe most people shall find the... More
