We stayed at the Blue Butterfly for 4 nights at the end of June and it was a fantastic find. Liz and Ron were great hosts, very welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed chatting to them and their tips and local knowledge on places to go, and the best hikes to do is invaluable. We had a room on the ground... More

Stayed 3 nights in June. Liz and Ron were very welcoming and create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. When we were shown our room, Meadow Lily, we were delighted with the size, the very tasteful furnishings and the superb view from our balcony. Breakfast was great, enjoyed on the terrace overlooking the river. Spent pleasant evenings on the terrace chatting with... More

We stayed at the Blue Butterfly Inn for a few nights at the beginning of July and our stay was perfect! It is a B & B that is in the perfect location, just outside one of the gates to get into Yosemite. The Inn is situated right next to the Merced River and we loved sitting on the back... More

There is a certain charm here. This special B & B is doubly blessed with a great location and super innkeepers! It attracts some of the most interesting guests. As Americans we thoroughly enjoyed meeting several of those from Great Britain and Australia. Twice a day we had an opportunity to chat with them...for evening tea with Liz's yummy home... More

We have stayed at several B&Bs over the years and were very pleased with our experience at the Blue Butterfly Inn. As other guests have stated, the owners are fantastic people. Ron and Liz are full of stories and recommendations for hikes, road trips and food. Liz is an excellent cook and had awesome breakfasts each morning. Her Italian zucchini... More

If you want the anonymity of a hotel/motel this is not for you. If you want to become a guest in Ron & Liz's lovely home, Join the other guests for breakfast, watch humming birds from the terrace overlooking the Merced then this is for you. The house is beautifully furnished and all that is asked of you is look... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights while on our honeymoon trip to Yosemite. This was a great taster of the area and we wished we had spent more time here. The Owners Ron and Liz were warm and welcoming throughout our trip and provided fantastic tips and advice for viewpoints and trails within the park. We stayed... More

This was our favourite place on our 19 day road trip. We spent 2 nights here and we really wish we had spent more! Its the one place we talk about more than anything. We stayed in the Californian Poppy room which was on the ground level so we used the main balcony during the evening to sit out and... More

My wife and I stayed here while visiting Yosemite for 5 nights. I know that I will be repeating others but let me say that the Inn and Ron/Liz are top notch. Ron/Liz are great hosts and make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. We stayed in the Lotus room which is spacious. The inn is VERY clean... More

After failing to book a room in Yosemite Park itself we discovered this gem thanks to trip advisor and it was the luckiest find ever. We were a little nervous of the reviews in advance but every positive review is right - I don't think that there can be anywhere better to stay. The rooms at this B&B are elegant,... More
