Stayed here for 3 nights in Yosemite is breathtaking but Cedar Lodge seems to be lost in time it is constantly full. But desperately needs bringing up to date the beds are so uncomfortable all our backs are still in so much pain it also had stains down the side of it. For some reason we were put in a... More

This little lodge is set just outside to National park. It is central to Yosemite. We had a motel style room which suited our needs. The room was basic but comfortable- 2 double beds, separate bathroom and toilet with sink in room. We were touring California and had 3 heavy cases which we had to haul up several flgiths of... More

Hotel is clean, features a nice convenience store and two restaurants. Food is pricey but the only real option in the vicinity. Beautiful mountain surrounding and nice swimming pool. I would stay here again. Takes about 30-60 minutes to get to Yosemite valley parking from the lodge.

Do not be fooled into thinking that this hotel is in the middle of Yosemite - it is NOT and is outside the park entrance. Having realised that Oakland was so near we wouldn't have booked this due to the cost Rooms are good and clean. Wifi is paid and expensive and by all accounts keeps on disconnecting.

Driving through Yosemite from San Francisco to Las Vegas and this was a welcome site after a long day of travelling. Well placed in a great location, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The wifi costs $10 per night, per device, which is a little irritating. There is an excellent bar and restaurant facility, with a great selection of... More

ok we did have a problem with the bathroom door falling off and the decor was a bit old fashioned. Receptionists were reasonably helpful but not charm personified. The pool was good fun and the bar fine but not oozing class. But it's good value, the park is just a few miles away and we had a good time here.

This old motel is close to the west entrance of Yosemite National Park. The building is old and needs some work. The rooms are dirty. The soap and shampoo are cheap. Breakfast is not included. There is a restaurant on site but it is pricey and kind of a dumpy. If you have the time to drive a little further,... More

Finding a lodging place close to Yosemite is always a tough ask.Cedar lodge is a good value for money place close to archstone entrance near Yosemite.Initially there was some hesitation staying at this place but I dont regret staying here. The room was nice and clean. It overlooked merced river across the road. The room has a jacuzzi which was a pleasant surprise!!

Great place, very close to the park and very nice rooms. Only problem is no wifi unless you are a US resident and have an existing plan. $9.95 for 24 hours. Pools outside look very nice, great restaurants and bar on site - 2. Gift shop, of course! Friendly staff and good service. Loads of rooms but you have to... More

Cedar Lodge Review: Something for Nothing They say you cannot get something for nothing, which is why we paid $150+tax for a queen sized bed in a twin sized room, a few miles down the canyon from Yosemite. We felt fortunate that we were able to make a reservation for one night, but decided to move on to our next... More
