We stayed here on our visit to Yosemite with our 3yr old. & 7mth old. Clean, large room. Lovely location, the wooden bears are everywhere and our kids loved checking them out. Food at the restaurant was a bit ho hum, but adequate. I liked the gift shop. No complaints for the reasonable prices.

I stayed here with my family (4 people, 22-58yrs) for one night and I would say it was more than enough. We stayed here because the other hotels in the park all costed a lot more. ATMOSPHERE: So, the atmosphere is quite creepy and trashy (which was somehow funny too) and the service is disgraceful: the guys at the reception... More

Driving around this part of Yosemite is beautiful. This lodge was okay. No cell service, low band for Internet to buy. The restaurant was okay. We only stayed one night, several nights in warmer weather to get away from busyness might be a good place to veg out. The heater was loud and noisy all night. The rooms were quaint.

Stayed here for 2 nights, hotel staff were friendly. Rooms were basic and dull, could do with a brighter light. There was a gab underneath the door so bugs could get in. You needed to pay for wifi but this didn't bother us to much. The diner had good food at a good price and nice staff. Hotel is in... More

The view was unbeatable! The Mercer River is right across the street and there are trails for you to walk on, which made it ever better. The pools were wonderful, indoor and outdoor. Also a jacuzzi indoors. There was also an arcade, which even though my little brother and I were both 17+ at the time we really enjoyed for... More

We checked into our room and then found there was no hot water. Then they put us in a room that had been shut down for the winter and wasn't made up. At this point we were frustrated, but the manager then put us in the best room at the lodge, so we were very pleased. They didn't have to... More

We were checked in by a lady who could only whisper and who appeared to have had a personality bypass. There was no warmth what so ever in the greeting. This was the only hotel of 12 we stayed in over 4 weeks where free Wi Fi was not provided. For this reason alone I would not rate higher than... More

Booked a last-minute trip to Yosemite and this lodge was the closest I could find with vacancy. Friendly staff upon check-in and easy parking. On-site dining experience was pleasant in terms of quality and price of food and service. Rooms are dated but clean. No major complaints and would return without hesitation if circumstances require it.

I booked this place last minute so expected the price to be high - and it was. Looking at their standard rate it was still very high in comparison to other offerings and the hotel doesn't have much to offer to justify the price other than its close proximity to Yosemite National Park. So the question is: do you wish... More
