I joined the USA Student Tour Company's 2 days trip from UC Berkeley to Yosemite in early Aug 2015. They assigned the Cedar Lodge is the place that we will stay with 3 persons in a triple room. It came up 3 persons in a twin bed and I had to sleep with someone that I didn't know ! Well,... More

This hotel is a great location just miles from the gate entrance to Yosemite. We checked into a room that was 85 degrees inside, the room telephone didn't work, and numerous items were missing or broken. After walking down to office, they merely apologized for the broken phone and no air conditioning. They did finally fix the air conditioning, but... More

This is an older motel and it shows in the rooms: airco very noisy, dark rooms and everything could use an update. However, it was a clean room, conveniently close to Yosemite, breakfast was definitely well stocked for the price (bacon, eggs and sausages, bread with a choice of condiments, scones, french toast and a range of fresh fruit) and... We went there when road tripping California as it was close to Yosemite national park. The room was correct but there was a big spray smell to cover something that maybe happened before us. The staff was helpful and friendly. Wifi was the worst part because the signal wasn't good at all and expensive. As the place is already far... More

Clean and functional. Nice and close to Yosemite (about 5 miles). Decent size buffet breakfast - food okay but a bit pricey. Don't bother with $25 internet as it is too slow to be useful. Free parking and they have a shop for essentials but not that well stocked.

I was a bit apprehensive about this accommodation having read some of the reviews on tripadvisor. However, I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived and saw that the place had more amenities than we expected and the room was quite and comfortable. The room was functional if somewhat dated but it was clean and we slept great. The reception area... More

We stayed here for two nights as part of our road trip around California. We booked back in October, two rooms, one for myself and my husband and the other for our two teenagers. When we arrived at Cedar Lodge after a long drive, we were told that they didn't have the two rooms that we had booked and so... More

My wife and I stayed here for 6 nights checking in on 20/06/15 after our original reservation at another accommodation was cancelled but that's another story. The room was clean and serviced each day and was o.k. The negative aspects were we noticed our window could not be locked and anybody could get in so there was a major security... More

We stayed here as two families of four - both had two adults and two teens. We each had a junior suite which weren't fancy but well equipped - full sized fridge, stove top, microwave and a good selection of pans, bowls, plates etc. Our cupboards did have very different supplies having said that - we had no wine glasses... The room was fine. Don't know what people are complaining about. Nice deck in the back with tables and chairs. No bugs! Swimming in the river one afternoon was great. Lots of international visitors and some school groups from Europe. Food at the bar/grill was overprices for thin hamburgers and a salad bar. The other restaurant was way over priced.... More
