Great value for money and good amenities for a highway motel. The indoor pool is great and lovely and warm, our room was large, clean and comfortable. We had a handy fridge and good size balcony to sit out on the warm evenings. The drive into Yosemite felt longer each day but wasn't a problem. The little store at reception... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in September. The room was big with two beds, sofa, fridge and decent bathroom. It's 8 miles to the park entrance, and has little beach by the river. We loved it. The staff were friendly. Food on the grill was better in overall terms than the restaurant, but it does come in plastic baskets... More

Ideal if you want to spend your time exploring Yosemite but don't want to spend lots on accommodation. Basic but totally fine for what we wanted. In beautiful settings, room was clean with fridge freezer, en- suite and coffee / tea facilities. Free car parking. 20 min drive from main park entrance. There is a diner and bar, both of... More

My husband and I stayed here with our two children mid August of this year. The lodge is conveniently located about 7 miles from the arch rock entrances to Yosemite and, is just the right distance from the park after a long day of hiking and exploring. If you are expecting anything other than an average type room this is... More

Stayed here for 3 nights during our yosemite trip. Rooms are large and comfortable. Bathroom was clean. No complaints. Buffet breakfast is available for 12 dollars. The hotel is around 15-20 mins drive from the yosemite park entrance . All in all, a decent and reasonable place to stay to explore yosemite.

This hotel is a good cheaper alternative to staying in the Yosemite Valley itself. Only about 10 minutes drive from the national park entrance. The hotel itself is a little dated in its decor, but has a cosy feel. Our room was quite big and spacious and it felt very clean, tidy and comfortable. I'd definitely stay here again. There... More

Fab location for Yosemite, rooms are spacious and clean, good shop on site, and fantastic river spot over the road for some wild swimming. Decor a bit chintzy for my tastes, could certainly do with an update, even just updating the curtains and bedding would go a long way. We ate in the restaurant which had plenty of options and... Use it as an entrance to Yosemite and it's a definite place to stay for convenience. An outdoor and indoor pool and small shop on site. There's a fabulous deli about 5miles towards Yosemite that's very well priced and has lots of lovely fresh food for shopping and eating straight away including freshly made sandwiches which will set you up... I was not expecting much but the establishment is well run, provided all I could want and the friendly/helpful service was genuine. Rooms were clean, food was delicious and filling and the store had a great selection.

The location was wonderful- close to Yosemite National Park in a beautiful surrounding. However, the room was a little dusty and outdated (the bathroom was an exception- great bathroom). In addition to that, there wasn't a nice place to sit outside the hotel to enjoy the surroundings (except for little gazebos in the parking lot). The Bear and early Halloween... More
