Stayed here for three nights to visit Yosemite. I contacted the hotel directly and asked for the AAA rate. The drive from LA was 6 hours stopping for a quick lunch. Had a terrific King room on the first floor right next to the Merced River. The room was comfortable and had a large patio with a table and four... More

Upon arrival I decided to upgrade our room to the river view. It was worth the extra 20USD. We got a room on the second floor overlooking the river with a great balcony. The room had two queen beds, which slept four adults nicely, and a full kitchen (which we didnt use). We got a pizza to go at the... More

Room was large and comfortable. Staff on check in and check out were professional, polite, and quick, as well as able to answer any questions regarding property and Yosemite National Park. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed the stay. Did not use the restaurant or pizza place as we decided to use the in room kitchenette for both breakfast... More

We could not get the accommodation we wanted within the National Park so decided to stay here. As it was Easter it was relatively quiet and it took about 25 minutes to drive to Yosemite village (not allowing for the roadworks which are temporary). On arrival from Yosemite we did struggle initially to locate the reception area as we had... More

We stayed at the Yosemite View Lodge for 2 nights in February. The drive through the mountains to the lodge was beautiful but a bit scary at some parts (with sheer drops at either side of the road!). The Yosemite View Lodge was very basic and our room obviously hadn't been used for a while (musty smell). Although it was... More

We loved this place! Usually we have stayed inside Yosemite park but found this to be nicer then any of the accomadations in the park. Clean and comfortable. The Merced River rushing by just 10 feet or so from our balcony was an amazing site. Be prepared for the constant loud sound of the rushing river though. my husband slept... More

This was a lovely Hotel, the room was large and the view of the river was lovely, it was nice to sit out on the patio. The kitchen was good and the large bath was wonderful after a hard days walking! The rooms do need a lick of paint but overall were very clean. The restuarant was very nice and... More

We had a room on the second floor overlooking the river. The balcony was a great asset for relaxing after hiking in Yosemite. Several hot tubs overlooked the river as well, and at this time of the year, even though it was Easter time, you could still get your own hot tub if you desired. The room had two queen... More

We were a bit apprehensive about the Yosemite View Lodge given some of the reviews but had no real alternative so thought we'd give it a go. We stayed for 3 nights in March and it was absolutely fine! The room was huge and clean with a lovely view of the river - the jacuzzi was much appreciated after walking... More

We stayed at this hotel over Easter weekend. While the location is excellent-about 10 minutes-I found the hotel to have some disappointing aspects. I don't think it is worth the price per night. First, the towels are VERY (read VERY) worn and yellowed. The dishes they provided in the room were not clean and some had food still in them.... More
