This place is well located just outside the park but believe me, there is no view of Yosemite. Room was OK, just a bit tired and the aircon didn't work properly, despite two different staff members 'fixing' it. There is a nice little pool by the riverside, its a peaceful spot. Our food in the evening is best described as... More

The location of this complex is excellent. The views are outstanding. There are several pools and spas. On the down side is the poorly stocked shop, less than welcoming and unhelpful staff. The room we had was very dark, which was a shame, but as the weather was good we spent most of the time outside anyway. The food outlets... More

We booked a 2 queen room and just happened to get a River View which was great. The heat was unreal won our 2 night stay here, the a/c was very noisy but we got over that. We had a 2nd floor room, very small patio and very steep stairs (no lift) but we managed. The river was in full... More

I think your experience of this hotel depends entirely on which room you get. We tried to book a River View room ourselves via their website (5 months in advance) & none were available for consecutive days? We however managed to do so through an agent (America As U Like It) with no problems at e cheaper rate! I can't... More

Management has one mantra: location, location, location. Yes, they provide nice views of the river and are 2 miles or so from the Yosemite Nat'l Park. But apart from that it is overpriced, shabby, mediocre. It seems to chiefly survive by making tour deals with unknowing european travel groups.

The scenery around this hotel is pretty awesome, this is especially true with a river view room. If you cannot stay in the park this hotel has the best location available. It is about a 20 minute drive into Yosemite valley. The rooms at this hotel are large. Our room had a balcony overlooking the river. The bathrooms are large... More

We stayed here for 5 nights during our trip to Yosemite in May. Overall I would give them a good rating. The hotel cleanliness, appearance, and service is probably a little below average compared to a city hotel, but you are not in the city you are outside one of best parks in the States. It is all about location... More

The hotel was very clean, and about 5 mins drive from the main entrance to Yosemite National park. We upgraded to the river view room - definitely worthwhile, as the view is spectacular. We also had a jacuzzi bath in the room which was as big as a 3 person hot-tub! All rooms have cooking facilities, but it's worthwhile if... More

Very close to Arch Rock park entrance. Rooms okay but due to use by hikers etc carpets not very clean. Kitchenette in room along with fridge which was very handy. Balcony but in standard room view not very good, road to park or car park, river view was extra. Swimming pools, indoor and outdoor, well maintained and open until late... More

First of all yoshemite is a very beautyfull natural place. Yosemite view lodge is littel away from the park but it's worth staying there as transportation is very easy and location is fantastic.
