We've stayed there before in a big river front room w/ a huge Jacuzzi tub. We had our kids and dog and had a great time. This time we stayed in a cheaper room near the restaurant. It was definitely OK. The huge draw back was that we planned on using our laptop and phones to research nearby attractions, but... More

We stayed here on our road trip from San Francisco to Las Vegas. The location is super and the overall feel to the hotel is good. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the small kitchen was useful. We enjoyed the pool facilities - the hot tub was certainly hot and a great way to unwind after a day of... More

This place is fantastic! Every room has a balcony and you have a view of the Merced river. The staff is great and my favorite part is that the bathrooms are huge so you have room to clean up and relax in a huge tub after hiking at Yosemite all day! We also bought a pizza from the restaurant and... More

Excellent place to stay before your trek to Yosemite. Pay the extra and get a river view. Rooms are very nice. Ours had a jacuzzi tub and fireplace. Pizza restaurant just opened for the season and it was excellent!! Downside being off season, the restaurant only had a $13 buffet. I'm sure we only ate $5 worth.

Nice detour spot to visit if your heading to Northern California. Hotel is very close to gate way to park and easily to find. Rooms are average and comfortable not 5 star but you are in a beautiful park where you wont spend much time in your room. Also rooms have kitchens available small stove ,microwave , fridge, dishes also... More

Very disappointed in the way our issue of breakfast included was handled, even though it had been arranged prior. The staff need to be proud of their place of work and take care and pride the welcome really did disappoint. Rooms are dated, but fine. Bed was big and comfy. The river view rooms were cool, lovely to sit and... More

This hotel has an excellent location and also if you get a riverside room, has an amazing view. The rooms are very nice, ours had a fire place and huge bathtub. It also came with a kitchenette. The room rate on the back of the door said $500 which i'm guessing is during peak season, I do not think we'd... More

We recently stayed at the Yosemite View Lodge while visiting the incredibly beautiful Yosemite National Park. The location of the hotel is wonderful, the views from the riverside rooms are beautiful and the surroundings – amazing. I would imagine that most people like us are just using this hotel for a suitable place to stay when you plan to go... More

We visited in the spring, when Yosemite crowds are thinner and hotel rates are reasonable. I certainly wouldn't be pleased to pay >$320 for a night at this hotel (the current posted rate for a July visit). The location couldn't be better - just a few minutes outside the Highway 140 gate to Yosemite, and <30 minutes to the Valley.... More
