The scenery around this hotel is pretty awesome, this is especially true with a river view room. If you cannot stay in the park this hotel has the best location available. It is about a 20 minute drive into Yosemite valley. The rooms at this hotel are large. Our room had a balcony overlooking the river. The bathrooms are large... more

We stayed here for 5 nights during our trip to Yosemite in May. Overall I would give them a good rating. The hotel cleanliness, appearance, and service is probably a little below average compared to a city hotel, but you are not in the city you are outside one of best parks in the States. It is all about location... more

The hotel was very clean, and about 5 mins drive from the main entrance to Yosemite National park. We upgraded to the river view room - definitely worthwhile, as the view is spectacular. We also had a jacuzzi bath in the room which was as big as a 3 person hot-tub! All rooms have cooking facilities, but it's worthwhile if... more

Very close to Arch Rock park entrance. Rooms okay but due to use by hikers etc carpets not very clean. Kitchenette in room along with fridge which was very handy. Balcony but in standard room view not very good, road to park or car park, river view was extra. Swimming pools, indoor and outdoor, well maintained and open until late... more

This is a huge hotel just outside the National Park boundary, but still about 10 miles drive to Yosemite Valley. If you wan to stay as close to the park as possible without paying a lot, this is the best place to stay. We arrived early at 2.30pm, but our room was ready and we were able to check in.... more

Nobody seemed to want to help at the front desk! We were 2 families, no way to get 2 rooms close from one another despite prior reservation. They made big mistakes on our billing that was apparently impossible or very difficult to correct. Our credit card was charged double and then to the wrong name etc etc. Internet connection is... more

My husband and I just got back from spending 2 nights at the Yosemite View Lodge. It was great! The room was large and very comfortable. The balcony overlooks the river and it was amazing! The bathroom had a BIG tub with a double shower that was fun. The staff was very nice and helpful. There are 3 nice outdoor... more

We stayed in the River View King Spa room. Great view, two person shower and spa tub, kitchenette, fireplace, tv....so great! There is two restaurants. Best value. In the park you pay more for less, this is just outside...perfect! more

Me and my wife stayed at this Lodge for three days and we were very happy with it. About $190.00 per day. Room was next to the reservation entrance, so I think it was a old bldg. Bathroom, kitchen, refrigerator outdoors were all clean. Bed was comfortable. Had no complaints of this lodge and would be happy to stay there... more
