We arrived very just before midnight after a long drive from Las Vegas. The staff were very accommodating. The lodge itself was comfortable but very outdated and in need of a revamp. The aircon sounded like a jet engine in the room, thankfully it wasn't hot. Tried the restaurant on our second night and the food was yum! The toaster... More

this hotel is very out dated. When we checked in I asked for two keys, but the clerk told me they were only giving out one key for each customer even though I just observed him giving 2 keys to the man in front of me. Generally, the staff was unfriendly. When we got to the hotel the whirlpool bathtub... More

We have stayed at this hotel numerous times over the last 15 years and it has really started to deteriorate. We've had some really good memorable stays - some of the highlights are the proximity of the gorgeous Merced River next to the hotel rooms - the sounds of rushing river water lulling you to sleep at night. The great... More

We stayed at Yosemite View after a couple of days in the area. We had stayed at Yosemite Lodge at the Falls the previous night but hadn't been able to get 2 nights there. As it happened that worked well because we were travelling to Monterey the next day and had a head start from El Portal. Dinner in the... More

We stayed in one of their suites, which had a king-size bed, a balcony overlooking Merced River, a kitchenette with a 2-burner-stove, a microwave, a mini-fridge, a dinette set, 2 sets of silverware/plates/bowls/mugs, a fireplace, and a deep-seated tub. We were less than 5 minutes from the park entrance, so it made getting to the valley easy, and there were... More

We choose this hotel based on location and proximity to Yosemite National Park and for this it is perfect, a short drive and you are at the park entrance, but that is the only benefit of this hotel, they are relying solely on their location and the hotel is in bad need of an update. Don't get me wrong, it... More

I am confused by the good reviews of this hotel. Perhaps we just had an older room, but it was a very poor experience. We stayed for just 1 night over the thanks giving weekend. The hotel is a great location, and easily access from the east bay in 3 hours. But on arrival we asked if we could check... More

This is an average hotel but very worth it. The hotel is just outside Yosemite National Park and the price is a fraction of what inside the park is. The rooms have a kitchen in them so you could easily stay longer with a family and not have to worry about eating out. The bathrooms are extremely large although a... More

I stayed here twice, great location. 15~20 mins drive away from Yosemite Valley. The rooms were good, have indoor pools. We got the room with kitchenette to have mimi BarBQ in the patio attached to the room, which is by the river. I loved the ground floor room, specially during early summer when the water flow is high in the river),... More

This is a great place to stay, we booked a mountain view room and got upgraded to river view with balcony overlooking the river and mountains, rooms were large and had plenty of space. Decore was a little dated but apart from that it was really good, nice pool to swim in and good facilities as well. Highly recommended for... More
