LOVED the staff! Everyone was so welcoming. I was informed by one of the managers and some of the staff where it would be fun to go with my niece. They helped with finding restaurants and markets. I liked the fact that everything was within 30 mins from me. The AC worked which was wonderful, we got a room with... More

Hotel was best rate we could find. Nearly $200 a night was a bit outrageous for this hotel. Pretty sure we saw a drug deal go on in the parking lot. Homeless man followed me to my upstairs room asking for money. However the room was fine check in ok and it was only about a mile from the trolley... More

So in a bind I had to get a last minute hotel as I was waiting for my apartment application and this place was down the street. I won't lie as I went back to my car I got scared from the crowd hanging outside by their rooms, but breathed easier as I saw the security guard there on the... More

I have spent several months, on and off at this Motel and have found it the best for my needs. It used to to have unsavoury ellements but the new Manager has apparently weeded them out. It is quiet and safe at night away from the freeway with a security guard patrolling. The staff are courteous and helpful, even brought... More

I travel to San Diego once a month with an employee to service my vending machine route. Since there are two of us I try to keep the cost of traveling low. This motel is a reminder of you get what you pay for. We arrived after 11:00 PM and was not permitted in the lobby to register. Instead, we... More

The normal sparsely furnished motel 6 with hard bed and hard chair. There is a desk for your computer but little storage. Nice wood flooring makes it easy to keep clean. Staff are helpfull and go out if their way to please, which makes a pleasant stay. Coffee is served free and one of the best breakfast cafes in San... More

Stayed for one night. Close to event we were attending in La Mesa. Room had wood floors and looked very modern and clean. Nice flat screen TV. Downsides: bathroom door did not shut completely and bed was too firm for me. Right off freeway but didnt hear any noise. Rooms would have been cheaper if we had booked direct. All... More

I stayed here for Comic-con weekend. This hotel had some of the best prices in the area when booked directly through their website (even though they were inflated for the convention). The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a single queen room, which was perfect for one person. The room was bright and clean, and plenty... More

Our party of three (my 17 year old son, his friend, and myself) recently stayed at this motel for one week. We did a road tour of San Diego and found this location close enough yet within our modest budget. Hotels in San Diego are expensive. You have to go far from the city to find cheaper accomodations. This property... More

My two teens and I were in town for a short vacation. The location was easy to find and felt safe. The desk clerks were kind and friendly. The rooms looked as if they had just had a makeover (although the bright orange wall was VERY bright!). I liked the laminate floor and lack of carpet. The cons included no... More
