These guys are great. I stayed here 2 years ago and again needed help from these folks even though I was not staying there this time. They were most accommodating and helpful. They allowed me to leave my car with them for an extended time while I went on a hike of the Pacific Crest Trail, for a very nominal... More

Room was nicely done , wifi was great. Water pressure in shower was awesome! Easy walking to downtown Dunsmuir. Folks at check-in and check out were very pleasant. Log frame beds a little challenging to get in and out of, especially in the night.

We were so tired and could not make our destination of Crater Lake in reasonable time so The Lodge was a great find for us weary travellers. I agree with the comments of javaandjazz, great value at about $80. I would add that the wi-fi works really well which has not always been the case for us in motels of... More

Found this place using tripadvisor on our way back down towards the napa valley. It's very charming and quaint. A room with a king bed came to $75. It's clean and comfortable. You can't go wrong. The room has a small coffee maker, 20" tv, small table and chairs. The log bed is fun. It's very convenient and right off... More

Perfect spot to rest our weary heads on a long road trip from Southern California to Seattle. Clean, comfortable beds, good pillows and a really good shower. No frills, but exactly what we needed to get rested and back on the road. Thread count, who knows? Pillow count, perfect: one for each of our weary heads.

48 of its 65 reviews give this lodge a rating of "very good" or excellent. And yet the #2 hotel on TripAdvisor has only 42 reviews total and 7 of them are less than "very good". I've stayed at the Dunsmuir Lodge multiple times on trips up and down I-5 over the last 10 years. I've always found the staff... More

Thank you for your wonderful praise! It's customers like yourself that make this job worth every minute! We think we are the best in town- but hey, we are biased... My husband and I spent a night here after a busy day. The proprietor was friendly and knowledgable, the room was clean, and the beds were firm. Best of all, we opened the windows and it was quiet outside.

This place is clean, convenient to town and freeway. But it is rundown, rooms are cold, owner isn't particularly friendly. I'm betting it is on par with everything in town, if not better. It is pet friendly, which is a plus.

I thought the Dunsmuir lodge was great. It had a cute, homey feel to it. We checked out a couple of the other hotels in Dunsmuir & The Dunsmuir lodge was definitely the best option with the best rates. The log bed was huge but very comfy. Everything else was pretty standard. The room came with a coffee pot which... More

I would like to share with people my experience while I stayed at this Lodge, I lost my diamond ring, the last night we're staying there and didn't realize it until we had left the next day. I called the owners Sylvia and Mike Robinson, and after several attempts to look for it, they found the ring, but they went... More
