Absolutely awesome place. All rooms are in a caboose. So cute! Our caboose was very clean and well taken care of. Very comfortable. Beautiful grounds and all at a great price. The staff are very courteous and friendly. They are also pet friendly! We brought our dog and we are all having a great time! We will definitely be back.... More

We will definitely be staying here again. Our 4 y.o. and 6 y.o. boys of course were ecstatic at the thought of sleeping in a caboose. The little boy in me enjoyed the thought as well. And my wife discovered that she could do some surprisingly decent stargazing through her astronomy binoculars as there was very little light pollution once... More

After a week of staying in four star hotels, this was our last hurrah and we were not disappointed! The whole family enjoyed their stay - the kids especially liked exploring the grounds. The restaurant and lounge were closed for the season so we brought our own snacks and drinks to enjoy in the cozy caboose. Do not overlook this... More

I had a nice overnight stay in a caboose. Red one in the back of the resort. Room was nice, clean, basic, but everything was good. No complaints. Resort was not very full as it was in mid october and it was cool at night. Parking was fine. I did not try their on site restaurant. Service was good.

My husband and 3 our our kids enjoyed this great fun getaway. We had stopped here several times over the years on our way to other destinations. The kids have always been itching to stay in the caboose motel and they finally were able to. They LOVED the swimming pools, beds and say the bathroom was a amazing!

This was a unique stay. We stayed in a caboose. It was so quiet in the caboose, the view of Crag mountain, awesome, caboose was very clean, spacious bathroom, coffee maker, micro, cable TV & small fridge, but as noted in previous review, prepare to board caboose via caboose steps. The staff was very friendly, they aim to please and... More

Staying in a caboose is special! The location with views of the Castle Crags is beautiful. The 'rooms' are all different with shower or bath/shower and well maintained. Be prepared to climb the small steps up into the caboose. Nice pool and spa. The wifi (outside the lobby) did not work, this was a pity, but for us not a... More

A different kind of hotel. Great pool. Great restaurant. Located right off hwy 41. Great view behind the property. State park located 3 miles south has a view off Mt. Shasta. I would stay again. Very quaint.

We stayed in Train #11 with our 2 year old son. He absolutely loved sleeping in a train!! The room itself was bigger than I thought it would be- there is even a full bath room with a tub. Our room had a queen bed, decor is nothing fancy- standard motel decor but it was still very nice. The campus... More

Who needs another Best Western or Holiday Inn, when you can stay in a real Caboose, surrounded by craggy mountains and the fresh air of northern California. You will stay in a caboose that has air conditioning, refrigerator, small TV ( who needs it..,) and a great shower! Coffee maker is provided as is wireless, although that may be weak... More
