Eshom is a great place to stay when you want to visit the Sequoia and King's Canyon NP. When we stayed there (end of July), it was still very quiet and far from fully booked. We arrived at Eshom very late at night. Let me just say it was an adventure getting there! It's located far off the paved path of the highway. The drive up to Eshom Campground was an adventure in itself with long windy roads through acres of orange/ apple orchards, rolling grassy meadows with grazing cattle and a windy drive up the side of a mountain.
