We stayed during the week for our anniversary. It was very quiet with only one other couple checked in. We enjoyed everything about El Morocco! The mineral pool and spa was great, the melting massages were even better! We stayed for two nights and brought our food since we had a room with a kitchenette. We enjoyed happy hour nightly.... There is not much one has to say, as most reviews say it all. This place is a little dream oasis in the desert. Though the town is not much to speak for (thank God for Palm Springs not too far, for restaurants and night life), this place is a little shangrilla in the middle of nowhere. The owners have... An escape from the everyday strain, staying here is like a dream. And yet, it's also a home away from home. The staff is lovely and accommodating too! Florence is so knowledgable about the area and provides great insight to places of interest and restaurants to dine at... As a foodie, that's a major plus! And she's always so sweet... More

My wife and I experienced and witnessed exactly the things Tom mentioned in his review. In fact I was one of the accused "hoarders". I feel bad for having 3 hard boiled eggs but I was hungry. Maybe I was accused of hoarding because Flo (Manager on Duty) saw me with 4 eggs on my plate? I gave one of... More

We have previous stayed the El Moroccan Inn 2 times , once 2008 and 2009. They staff and stay was fantastic. But this time everything had changed. From our 1st conversation with the lady at the front Florence. All the parking was taken up in front of the hotel as we had got the last room. So we asked where... More

What can I say other than FABULOUS?! My first experience here was as a day spa guest. Two girlfriends and I visited and had an exceptional massage! The aromatherapy is decadent and Gloria is amazing!! The grounds are so relaxing we spent the day in the mineral pool and jacuzzi, and used the sauna as well to soak in the... More

Best kept secret in Coachella Valley. A romantic hideaway to reconnect with your loved one. Take the time to relax with a healing spa and massage. Rooms are quiet and luxurious. You will want to be feed grapes and fanned with palm fronds in your room living the life.

We stayed here last September and just returned for another weekend this summer again. There are no changes since last year, the place is still charming and welcoming, quiet and relaxed atmosphere during the day and night. We met mostly young people here, all very pleasant and nice but overall it wasn't a very social experience. We stayed in the... More

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at the El Morocco with a friend, our third time here. What can I say? Everything was as expected – which is to say fabulous. The perfumed air, the poolside Morocco-tinis (by this I mean we were IN the pool) served by Bruce’s brother, and a midnight viewing of “Casablanca.” By coincidence, “Casablanca” is “our”... More

We just spent two nights for our anniversary and absolutely everything was amazing. Place is wonderful decorated and takes you into the Casablanca atmosphere right as you step inside, mineral water pools are great, all services are discreet and cozy, whole place has everything you need for a nice quiet romantic escape.
