I love Sagewater and think about it every day that I'm not there. The waters are what call us but Rhoni and Cristina are a big part of what makes it a fun and relaxing getaway! The other guests are always interesting and you never know who you'll meet in the pool. From the quiet to the fresh air to... More

I stayed at Sagewater for a few days before going through Jan Minter's five day cleanse at another resort. It was the perfect way to prepare! Sagewater is serene and a minimalist feast for the senses. I arrived after a long drive on a windy, cool night, but the hot soak Cristina recommended put me right in the mood for... More

I had a wonderful stay at Sagewater and felt absolutely rejuvenated at the end of my visit. The water is full of healing magic and the entire vibe of the hotel and the area was so incredibly calming and centering you feel instantly soothed upon arrival. Truly a small taste of paradise.

We stayed 6 nights, the manager's warmth, the owner's warmth and of course the air and water's warmth turned us into mushballs. Being in such a small place was a we had the place to ourselves, even though they were at capacitY we rarely saw people and when we did, they were all like minded and relaxed. DHS is not the... More

We have been visiting Desert Hot Springs for 25 years. We have stayed at a few of the establishments available there. One place was, appropriately enough a stop on the Elder Hostel route, another place was expansive and expensive but with so-so water, another had fabulous views but enough chlorine in the water and air to be mind-altering, and finally... My husband and I stayed four wonderful nights at the Sagewater Spa. We'd picked it because of Tripadvisor reviews and the spa's website. We loved every minute - delighting in the simple, comfortable, thoughtfully designed rooms that honor the building's mid-century modern vibe, the warmth of the welcome from Cristina and Rhoni, the utter relaxation of the mineral pools (warm... This is a beautiful place to stay. The rooms are wonderfully spare with lovely views of the mountains. The atmosphere is calming and the hot spring pool is restorative. The owners are welcoming and delightful. It's a small resort so it feels homey and not commercial. It was a perfect place to relax after hiking in Joshua Tree.

Thanks to Cristina and Rhoni for their warm welcome. Feel at home in a quiet place. Having a bath in the hot pool night and day is an unforgettable experience of total well being. Some nice places to see around but staying there regenerate your energy better than in any other spa. Just try it!

Others have praised the Sagewater Spa and its lovely owners more eloquently than I can, but it is worth saying one more time. The Sagewater Spa is a delight in every way. We just returned from our first visit, and I can't say enough about the clean, spare beauty the owners have brought to this small mid-century property. The ultra-clean... More
