My husband and I stayed at this motel recently to be closer to my ailing father. The staff were wonderful! However these are the reasons we would never recommend it or would stay again: 1. Noise! Our one night stay at this hotel was a total disaster. The hotel is very noisey (it backs up to a freeway)and seemed to have very thin walls allowing you to hear conversations and television noises from the adjacent room. I have stayed in this motel several times. it was always very clean. the rooms are small but comfortable. each room has a good size frig, microwave and coffee maker. staff is very pleasant and try to accomodate your needs. has a pool, spa and is fairly new and pretty. On a driving trip, my husband and I showed up in Bakersfield on a Friday night with no reservation.
