I stayed at the Hilton for 3 nights on business. I was initially concerned when looking at other reviews - but decided to give it a shot. When I first walked in - I was pleasantly surprised. The lobby was big and bright, gleaming new and felt really nice. I quickly checked in and headed to the room. The room... More

We stayed here Oct 27th & 28th. The pool is great! They kept the clean towels a coming. Too bad no poolside service for drinks. I think they are missing a $$ making opportunity there. Had a wonderful salad in the bar for lunch. All the employees were wonderful. Walls are a little thin for me. Bathroom is VERY small.... More

We have stayed there twice. The last time it was for our wedding. We didn't actually get married there but they gave us a great block room rate. The staff was extremely helpful. We had most of our out of town guests stay there and we hosted a dinner in the patio the night before. The food was amazing! The... More

Cost: 5 nights/ $550. We had a room with no balcony on the first floor for a prepaid rate 1/2-1/3 of what it was to book in LaJolla, so we chose this one. Room: Average hotel room, nothing special. The shower faucet didn't turn all the way off and reset itself during the shower - the "engineer" looked at it... More

This is a ice looking hotel as you drive up. We were first put in a 1st floor room and it was not ideal. The patio is a slab of concrete and no privacy, you share it with those in the room next door. Initially when we checked in we asked for an upper floor room, the woman said there... More

This hotel is about 20 minutes outside the city of San Diego, so you would definitely need a rental car. However, they do charge $17 a day for parking, which I think is crazy - it's not as if it's midtown Manhattan - but most of the hotels around there also charge, so it's not just them. It's right off... More

My husband went for a conference at Hilton, Del Mar. After a week of work, we stayed on for another weeks vacation. The hotel was very, very nice; our room was big, always clean and lovely. While there, I was on my own during the day for 5 days. Jennifer, the Concierge was very helpful in planning "my vacation time."... More

Excellent stay! The staff was pleasant; the rooms were clean; it was everything we wanted for a "get away" evening. Their location is awesome as well - close to the airport (15 minute drive), but far enough away from the city noise.

I really have been dreading writing this review. I can, sometimes, get into the mood and write reviews that are negative, and I've been able at times to have fun with that, but this time? This time I wish so, so much that I didn't have to. This time, the negativity I need to review touched my kids, especially my... More

Thank you for your message. I deeply regret that you found our team overall to be rude and unhelpful during your stay with us. We would certainly not be a Hilton for as long as we have been if we treated our guests regularly in such a way as you experienced. Please accept my apologies. I can probably deduct that... More

I just finished a three night stay here while on a business trip to San Diego. Although this property has to be 35 years old now, it's been a center for both business and pleasure travel since it opened. This property has very recently been updated and refurbished. The staff is uniformly polite and responsive. Great pool and patio area;... More
