Stayed in the hotel last weekend with my wife and two kids under 3 for a wedding.
The room we stayed in was all brand new because they are renovating the entire hotel.
A couple of things like the lobby and still being worked on now, but the staff was really helpful and navigating us through the property.

I stayed here for 2 weeks in April. I came down for surgery and started my recuperation at the hotel. Everyone was so kind and helpful. the rooms were spacious and comfortable and they provided a fridge and microwave. The patio was so soothing and welcoming. Was a nice Hilton. Located across from the Horse track and about 2 miles from the beach. About 20 minutes north of downtown San Diego by car.

Stayed here for one night. Hotel personnel were very friendly and helpful. We had an interior room which overlooked the courtyard and was very quiet. Some rooms actually have a walk out balcony. You may want to download the aforementioned app on your phone and then possibly save alot off the cheapest room rate supplied by hotel (over 33% off).
