This is perfect for a small family as it has two separate bedrooms, but each only has one bed. People were very helpful and nice. Breakfast came from the cafe downstairs to order and we could sit on the balcony and eat.

My hubby and I stayed at The Secret Garden Inn for a weekend getaway. Excellent service. We stayed on the top floor. Two bedroom suite with a beautiful balcony. Great ocean views. Very relaxing. The staff brought our breakfast to our room. Ask for John the owner of the property. He's wonderful and very helpful. Would highly recommend.

We would love to book this B&B but their website states that they only take reservations 1 month in advance. We have to book plane tickets and nail down our lodgings, I can't see waiting until only 1 month ahead to know we'll have a place to sleep. Since most good places book up long before that, we could end... More

Very small place--only 5 units (though I only saw 4). Three of us stayed in the penthouse over Thanksgiving. We could've held Thanksgiving dinner for 12-16 ppl on the deck, which has outdoor seating, fireplace, private hot tub (great after spending day in ocean), and grill. There are two king (?) beds, one of which actually is in its own... More

A unique B&B, not for those who like hotels with all the amenities. The owner is very nice as well as the staff. There are 3 very small and uniquely furnished rooms each with a small balcony. There is no phone or radio and a very old model TV which we did not watch. We had a jacuzzi tub which... More

You pull up to Les Artistes, which is run by the same people. Friendly welcome, even loaned me a tourguide to Southern California for free. After Check In you either get in their car or follow one of their guys. He takes you to the Secret Garden Inn, which is very small (just five rooms) and therefore private. We splurged... More

Charming designed property in Del Mar near the main road. My rooms had a small balcony. Is a branch of another guesthouse. Ocean view is a bit disappointing and there is actually no access to the ocean.
