Our group has stayed at The Aggie Inn the past two years now for a local event. The location is ideal for our event. They provide clean and comfortable rooms. The Inn's staff is always friendly and willing to go out of their way to help you (without being asked). (The breakfast staff even offered to heat more water for... More

I visit Davis about 5 times a year and I've stayed in 3 hotels there, The Aggie Inn, The Hallmark, and Best Western. I've liked them all but the Aggie in is my favorite. We had one of the cottages (#301) and it was very spacious and charming. The staff is very helpful and I love the location. It's about... More

We stayed one weekend night, while in Davis on business. Comfortable bed, clean, friendly staff, fridge & microwave. Quiet heating/cooling system. Quiet enough at night, busy streets by day. Train whistles but I love that sound, and if you want to stay downtown you will hear them. On edge of Davis' great, walkable but student-teeming downtown. Pathetic free continental breakfast... Stayed at the cute little boutique hotel after attending an event at the Mondavi Center at UC Davis. Great location, right on the edge of the campus and the downtown shopping/restaurant district. Tastefully decorated rooms. If street noise bothers you, ask for an inside room - very quiet.

I typically don't write reviews but my recent stay was horrible. I was suppose to stay 3 nights but after one night i moved to a different hotel. If you get a room that faces first street you will hear, cars, trains, buses etc. all night. Moreover, if you have plans to do any business forget about it. I had... More

Thank you for taking the time to bring the noise level to our attention. We apologize you had a bad experience during your recent stay. We would love to have you back and enjoy one of our suites away from the street once the construction is over. If there is anything we can do please let us know. More

The hotel is wonderfully located near campus and downtown, and has a charming outdoor sitting area good for meeting up with family here for the same wedding. I found the room rather dark, making it difficult to see into my luggage, and the breakfast room was small and the food limited. Not even any bananas, and the coffee was empty... More

Like other reviewers wrote, if your room faces to B street, you hear people talking as they walk right outside of your window, and buses stopping and going. Our family was too tired, so once we fell asleep, we slept solid. I hear that rooms that do not face any streets are really nice from our friend. The hotel was... More

Awful and wanting in many areas! It was Dirty, Stingy, Smelly, and Insufficient in toiletries. No magnifying mirror for putting on make up. On the floor I found a couple of Advil that were not disposed of by housekeeper. Housekeeper left our dirty mugs and glasses and didn't provide clean ones for the following day. The bathroom lights were on... More

We were very pleased with the Aggie Inn. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. We were surprised to learn that our room was the smallest one in the hotel. It is not described as a cottage but is actually attached to one of the revamped cottages. Coming from the UK where hotel rooms are generally smaller than in the... More

Pros: Clean Convenient location Cons: Tight Parking Fairly noisey location No hot tub For those sensitive to noise be advised: avoid room 201. Room 201 is the corner room directly facing the corner of 1st and B streets. As the room is right on the corner, I'm guessing it's probably the room at Aggie Inn that is most susceptible to... More
