Stayed at Alpine Inn with my buddy on weekend when I came to see 49ers play at Monster Park. I liked the location due to its close proximity to Monster Park and San Francisco. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated...little small for my taste. Breakfast was sufficient. People are very nice and the hotel is quiet. Exterior is clean and... More

given that SF is one of the most expensive cities in the world, the price i payed for the suite was a real bargain. after contacting the property directly i ended-up paying 70$ a night for a suite that had two very clean and recently refurbished rooms. we also had a fridge and a microwave which was a bonus. the... It's on a hillside, off the beaten track. You need to have a car to stay there or friends with one. It's on a hillside, facing the famous Cow Palace, a local landmark/convention site. It probably used to the Hacienda something, as it had at one time some kind of Spanish motif, but it's been redone with various objects in... More

Our stay at this hotel was amazing. The lady at the front desk absolutely lovely and very helpful! The rooms were very nice and clean. We stayed in the two-bedroom appartment, which was awesome. The only thing we missed was a fridge on the room and some ventilator on the bathroom, otherwise my family and I were very satisfied with... More

I booked thru Expedia and booked a smoking queen bed room. I called the hotel to double check on my reservation and they told me that I did indeed have a 1 queen bed smoking room booked. The night we checked in, we went to our room and it was one of the rooms that had a no smoking sign... More

This Mediteranian style hotel was adorable. It may not be a business travelers dream but for a relaxing vacation it was great. The hotel owners are very accomodating and friendly, they made sure our stay was pleasant and enjoyable. They offered great suggestions on eating establishments and directions to the Pier and Chinatown. (Pizza Palace was Excellent!) The rooms were... More

I highly recommend staying at the Alpine Inn – we had the Mediterranean room at the very top of the hill and it was exactly what we needed (2 queen beds and they were in even separate rooms). The hotel rooms are more like mini-cottages and are much more private than a standard hotel room. Breakfast was slightly better than... More

The Alpine Inn is a simple, no frills hotel that sits on a small hill overlooking the Cow Palace. It has a view as well of the bay in the distance. It is reached by exiting the 280 on Geneva and driving 5 minutes on surface streets through a working class neighborhood. Our room shared a wall with another room,... More

This is a small, quaint hotel just west and up the hill (close to San Bruno Mtn and park) that offers inexpensive, clean rooms. Maid service was prompt, efficient, with fridge and microwave, fast wifi and parking next to the rooms. The neighborhood is a little scary to the north, but police patrol the streets and check the hotel parking... More

This hotel was excellent. I had been looking everywhere for a place to stay that was close to the city of SF and I was pleased when I stayed here--it's only a few minutes drive to the SF's Mission District. The rooms were clean and what was great is that it was only my cousin and myself that where lodging... More
