Great location with beautiful decor and a helpful staff. Got up very early and coffee was not ready yet but the employee went to the back and brought some out for me and made sure I was comfortable. Very kind. Love this place and look forward to a return visit. Nightly jazz adds energy and charm.

The trick with true hospitality is responsiveness. Pleased to know you got your coffee, I know how I am if I do not get mine. Our live bands play 7 nights a week, from 7:30pm, glad you enjoyed your dose. See you Soon. Seth Horowitz General Manager The Culver Hotel. More

I love staying at historic hotels, and this 1924 landmark in the heart of downtown Culver City beautifully fit the bill. You can't beat the location- within walking distance of so many wonderful restaurants, bars, and movie theaters. But the real star is The Plaza with the MGM lion sculpture which serves as a constant reminder that Harry Culver's dream... More

We celebrated our 90th Anniversary with a "PROHIBITION BALL" last September. Everybody had to be in 1920's costume, we have swing dancing, burlesque and drinks from that age. It paid homage to the vision of the creator of Culver City, and its actuality in 2015 is truly wonderful. Thank you for coming from Switzerland to our little paradise on the... More

Charming Hotel, comfy bed, great service even before I arrived- thank you La Londa, David, Anthony, and Oscar. Just learned there is a hawaii connection with hotel and met a very nice new employee from Hilo. Just very relaxing during day and fun lobby bar restaurant in evening. I will be back.

We spent one night at the Culver Hotel on NYE for a wedding (it was the hotel they recommended) and we really liked it here. It's a smaller hotel with a cozy feel and with a great Art Deco style. The staff was wonderful and on the main floor was a large, airy bar/restaurant. We didn't have time to try... More

Thank you for your excellent review. Culver City is truly Centrally LOCATED. It is an incorporated City with its own and effective Police Department and Fire Department. Makes a General Manager feel very comfortable for our operation and our guests. Harry Culver used the tag line "ALL ROADS LEAD TO CULVER CITY" in the 1920's, and it is applicable now.... More

This hotel is a treasure! Very quaint. The staff is super accommodating and friendly. The rooms are clean and spacious. Great lobby with continental breakfast every morning. Easy valet parking with helpful attendants. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Just 15 minutes from LA hotspots like Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Sunset Blvd,...I would stay here again without hesitation.

I enjoyed my stay at The Culver Hotel. The funky lobby was fun and felt very vintage LA. The continental breakfast buffet was good and I enjoyed eating among the ambiance of blue velvet chairs the color of peacock feathers. Later I found out you can also order omelets and such. It was too chilly to sit on the terrace... More

Thanks for choosing to stay with us. Your room with the soaking tub is our 10 series room, and we have 4 of them. We do need to improve our shower curtains to contain the splash and make it easier to operate. The rest of our 42 rooms have either walk-in shower stalls (8 of them) and shower/bath combinations. Sorry... More

We have been honored to play host to a multitude of holiday parties this season. While I've yet to stay in a room, I've been to an inordinate amount of parties here. Everything from holiday parties to birthday parties. I looked into holding my wedding here too. While the staff was very communicative, it was just a bit out of my budget. Every time I've been here, the food, drinks and music have been awesome... More

Keep coming back, and back and back. The beauty of our little hotel are the many areas for a special event. Now that we have the entire 2nd floor clear of offices, we can do 100 people up there to. I would give this three and a half stars, but you can't give half stars so I rounded up to four to be fair... We appreciate the very professional review. We absolutely strive to make our little hotel an "experience" and am convinced that upon your return we can firmly get your vote to a 5. For a Historic building of the 1020's, in the middle of Downtown Culver City, we try very hard to work with the logistics that are our reality. We... More

I recently stayed at the beautiful gem of a hotel in Culver City and can't say enough about it. The Art Deco is throughout the rooms and lobby. The breakfast in the morning is sensational. One morning we sat by the indoor fireplace and the second morning we sat outside at the farm tables. It was luxurious in every way.... More
