Based at The Culver Hotel on a business trip, it was a perfect place to stay and enjoy LA (to be honest we never needed to go downtown) and see the surrounding sights. Hollywood, Sony, Warner Brothers, Rodeo Drive, Santa Monica, Malibu, Venice Beach etc etc...lots of shopping and many restaurants...all easy to get to from this quaint, historical hotel... More

Stayed for one night with my two young children on a recent trip to LA and was completely blown away by this gem. This historic hotel is sophisticated and has been beautifully renovated, maximising comfort while keeping its nostalgic charm and I found it a great position from which to explore LA. The service was incredible and nothing was too... More

What a lovely hotel. The lobby is very cozy, and they have live jazz on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. There are also 2 restaurants in the hotel-one is in the lobby and the other has a separate entrance. The ambiance is romantic and cozy and the food is good. Staff is friendly and accomodating and the rooms are very... More

Stayed here with a small group where the youngest is 15. Right from the start, this hotel was top-notch. The atmosphere was elegant and comfortable, quite different from uppity, which was pleasant. The rooms were each unique and beds were cozy. Wi-fi was free and complimentary breakfast. A lovely place. I was mostly intrigued by the history behind the hotel... More

I stayed 5 nights in Culver City for business - a short walk to Sony. Most Sony visitors have opted not to stay here, but it looked & sounded good to me - didn't need a pool, gym room was sufficient. Firstly, hats off to the staff - all wonderful, responsive & efficient. I loved the historic building updated for... More

Thanks for staying with us. Sony, and businesses on the Sony Lot, do use us extensively. That 8 minute walk is a breeze. To the Expo Metro station to the East, it is also just an 8 minute walk. Nice to see you explored the culinary options Downtown Culver City provides, so much variety and of excellent quality. See you... More

While visiting family in Los Angeles for the Oscars last year, I booked a room at The Culver Hotel for a long weekend and was pleased as punch! It is easily accessible to most of the major studios, everything you need in Culver City itself, AND personally I could even walk to the home of the family I was visiting!... More

Los Angeleno's need to be taught how to walk like New Yorkers, it is true! The beauty of Downtown Culver City is that everything is within walking distance, even the Expo Line Metro Station, which goes to USC, Staples Center and Downtown Los Angeles. Within the next few months the train will be going down to the ocean at Santa... More

Recently stayed at the Culver hotel as it is near our son's home and we have been looking for a convenient, nice hotel to stay when we visit our granddaughter. We were very happy with the hotel. It is very convenient to restaurants and shopping. We had room 63 which was very tastefully decorated, very clean, quiet and with a... More

A big part of our business is family coming to stay with us while visiting children and grandchildren. Our owner, who is the designer and works here on property, was determined to keep the historic nature of the 1924 building and incorporate the modern conveniences needed by our guests. It seems inevitable that we will see you again, and that... More

The staff was incredibly helpful at all times! The breakfast buffet was filling! Rooms were small but very tastefully decorated. Incredibly convenient to restaurants and the airport. I would definitely return!
