I stayed 5 nights in Culver City for business - a short walk to Sony. Most Sony visitors have opted not to stay here, but it looked & sounded good to me - didn't need a pool, gym room was sufficient. Firstly, hats off to the staff - all wonderful, responsive & efficient. I loved the historic building updated for... More

Thanks for staying with us. Sony, and businesses on the Sony Lot, do use us extensively. That 8 minute walk is a breeze. To the Expo Metro station to the East, it is also just an 8 minute walk. Nice to see you explored the culinary options Downtown Culver City provides, so much variety and of excellent quality. See you... More

While visiting family in Los Angeles for the Oscars last year, I booked a room at The Culver Hotel for a long weekend and was pleased as punch! It is easily accessible to most of the major studios, everything you need in Culver City itself, AND personally I could even walk to the home of the family I was visiting!... More

Los Angeleno's need to be taught how to walk like New Yorkers, it is true! The beauty of Downtown Culver City is that everything is within walking distance, even the Expo Line Metro Station, which goes to USC, Staples Center and Downtown Los Angeles. Within the next few months the train will be going down to the ocean at Santa... More

Recently stayed at the Culver hotel as it is near our son's home and we have been looking for a convenient, nice hotel to stay when we visit our granddaughter. We were very happy with the hotel. It is very convenient to restaurants and shopping. We had room 63 which was very tastefully decorated, very clean, quiet and with a... More

A big part of our business is family coming to stay with us while visiting children and grandchildren. Our owner, who is the designer and works here on property, was determined to keep the historic nature of the 1924 building and incorporate the modern conveniences needed by our guests. It seems inevitable that we will see you again, and that... More

The staff was incredibly helpful at all times! The breakfast buffet was filling! Rooms were small but very tastefully decorated. Incredibly convenient to restaurants and the airport. I would definitely return!

We stayed here in June 2014. Great helpful staff, satisfying breakfast. Enjoyed High tea with the family. Fascinating bar upstairs set out in prohibition style. You never know who may be popping in as this is in the heart of the film studio area. Built in 1924. Used for filming Masters of Sex. Comfortable room. A small boutique hotel that... More

On regular trips to visit family in Los Angeles, we usually stay in Santa Monica or Marina del Rey, but our favorites there were especially expensive this time, so we looked around. The Culver Hotel was a happy discovery for us. We enjoyed four nights there last week with our two sons, ages 9 and 5. The hotel is quite... More

Charming old hotel. An excellent blend of old and new. Very convenient to restaurants and transportation. The staff is very helpful, eager to please. Everything was just as desired. Not a noise problem even while being close to traffic.

Stayed here in June on a business trip. Found the location to be excellent. Short walk to the Metro for getting to my conference downtown yet able to spend the evening in a walkable, hip district with good food and entertainment very nearby. Room was clean and comfortable.
