We just spent a weekend at Mammoth Ski and Racquet and loved it. Since all the units are individually owned, I think you do have to be careful to look at the pictures and read the descriptions. We saw a picture of one that had blue shag carpet that looked pretty nasty. Ours, though, had new hardwood floors, beautiful and... more

We had a good time in Mammoth and we did like where the condo was.It would be a nice condo if it was not so dirty. The carpet was so dirty that we all had to wear our shose in the condo or our feet would stick to the carpet and the kids could not even sit on the carpet. The dinning... more

My husband and I booked unit number 20 in the "B" building through VRBO.com for two nights mid-week. It was very clean and decently decorated. The kitchen was minimally stocked, enough for breakfast, but not for fixing a complicated dinner. Had everything we needed including enough hot water, which was a complaint about another unit. We dealt directly with the... more

I have been to Mammoth Lakes at least 60 to 70 times in the past 35 years. Stayed in camp grounds, mobil homes, homes of friends, time shares, rental condos, you name it. This town has changed A LOT in the past 5 - 10 years. Big money has arrived and there are some REALLY great places to stay on... more

My husband, our 3 kids and I stayed at Mammoth Ski & Raquet Club starting this past Saturday, 1/20/07, for 2 nights in unit #33. It was advertised through www.lastminutemammoth.com as a 2 BD/2 BA that accommodates 7 people. My husband and I started skiing at Mammoth when we were in high school in the late 70s and have rented... more

The Unit we rented in Bldg. F was clean and bathrooms scrubbed. All amenities were provided and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes etc., microwave, coffee maker and dishwasher. The unit was comfortable, clean and fresh. Totally enjoyed the convenience to Canyon Lodge less than a 10 minute walk and avoided the parking lot mess. more

Stayed with my girlfriends for a long ski weekend. Unit was clean and bathrooms scrubbed. Parked in garage which was great. Easy walk to Canyon Lodge. Would definitely stay again and I have the same unit booked for March 2006. more

Okay because it was relatively cheap. Don't believe the part about 5 minute walk to Canyon Lodge. You would have to be a speed walker, and it is all uphill. They claim free wireless internet in all buildings. It worked for a day and then stopped, after which the staff were totally indifferent. The place was failry clean, if lacking... more

Rugs were advertized as new, but were FILTHY. I can't even describe how black and stained they were. Dishwasher unusable, stank of cigarette smoke?? Old cupboards, not orderly, no hot water for remote washer. Nice layout, loved the loft bedroom design, but too old and run down for my taste. Would not return to this unit more
