After reading all the terrible reviews on this site I was a bit hesitant in reserving a room here for Martin Luther King weekend. I decided to take a risk anyway and I do not regret it. This is obviously not the Hyatt but for a motel it is a very nice place. The rooms were spacious and very clean.... more
We only stayed for a night to break the drive from Yosemite to Vegas, and I wouldn't recommend staying for more than that! The motel is pretty run down and the rooms were fairly basic and straight out of the 1960s.... my wife was pretty suspicious about staying here because it looked dirty. The worst hotel I have ever stayed at. . Do your self a favor if this is the last place to stay sleep in your car get frost bite that will better than this hotel more
The location is great and the rooms are definitely old. The mattresses are also old and noisy. The rates are extremely reasonable so you get what you pay for. more
The Swiss Chalet is an excellent place to stay winter or summer!!! The staff is very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to get us what we needed. Nice rooms--very comfortable. Great Jacuzzi and Sauna. Excellent prices for good quality. I would highly recommend staying there. more
First off DONT stay here, this is absolutely the worst place to stay in Mammoth Lakes. I'd rather freeze in my car than sleep in this atrocious motel. The rooms look like a hospital ward, except a badly run and cleaned ward. We booked this place and arrived at christmas hoping to have a nice ski trip. We were flabbergasted... more
