We stayed here two nights and were very impressed! We booked through hotels.com and found it to be better than expected. It has recently been renovated, the place was very clean and pleasant. There was a beautiful hot tub and bbq area, the rooms were really nice with an electric fire and very comfortable bedding. I would definitely stay here... More

Booked a room through Expedia for two nights. Wife was sick on the first night and hotel agreed to cancel 2nd night without charge. Expedia has a record of this agreement. The hotel charged me for two nights. 2 months later and what seems like forever on the phone to Expedia and the hotel, I still don't have a refund... More

The staff was so kind and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Clean and newly remodeled. I would stay there again and highly recommend. Very reasonable price. Our flight was late so we didn't get there until 2:00 am. They kindly left the key where I could get it without having to wake anyone... More

Hello! I really debated about giving this hotel 2 stars versus the 3. But I am an understanding customer and realize that perhaps the guests hanging out in the courtyard drinking beer from coolers and being loud and interrupting our sleep could have been a fluke… I did have some concern that no one was around staff wise at the... Interesting to read the last review as the exact same thing happened to us a few weeks ago. Booked weeks in advance, 2 rooms, arrived and told problem with reservation due to a new manager and there were no rooms. The guy was good about and took us down to the Jeffery Hotel(0.5mile down road). Got a tour round and... More

The "customer service" that we received here from Joe, the front desk manager, was the single worst experience we've had in many travels. Like another customer, we made a reservation over a month in advance, only to arrive at midnight and be told by the manager that we didn't have a reservation and the hotel was full. Within minutes, we... More

We booked our room at this lodge several weeks in advance for our trip to Yosemite. After a 3 hour drive from Sacramento with our 8 month old, the gentlemen at the front desk told us someone else at the lodge had overbooked their rooms and they had to cancel our reservations. We NEVER received so much as a phone... More

This place has been completely remodeled in the last year. The owners have done a lot with an old motel. All new furnishings and the operator is very friendly. I didn't realize Coulderville was an operating ghost town with a couple of restaurants, an authentic bar and hotel. It's a pretty unique town near Yosemite. Probably not the best place... More

We arrived late into the evening, worried about finding a reasonable place to stay. The owners were incredibly accommodating, and took us in under such late notice. There is a lovely grill area with a picnic bench and chairs that has excellent lighting for late night eating. The muffins and orange juice/coffee in the morning were delicious, and the showers... I visited on 3/26/14 and they were just finishing the remodel. I had the first room, which I'm assuming is the ADA room as the bathroom was HUGE and the kitchenette was in the bathroom (which isn't my preference). It was VERY clean which I always appreciate, but as a fresh remodel didn't expect less. They weren't set up yet... More
