The hotel had fine accomodations and the room was clean. I was very disappointed to find I forgot my bag with 3 pairs of shoes (retail value $200). When I called the front desk shortly after leaving, he said he would check with housekeeping. He later called me to say they found nothing left in the room and that after he had even checked himself. Once I arrived at my next destination and searched my trunk I was upset to find my shoes missing. I know I left them there in the room. I can understand if nobody called to claim an abandoned item, but I called very soon after checking out and they deliberately lied to me and kept my personal belongings. Do not trust the housekeeping staff!! more
