This is a FAB business hotel...everyone in lounge is in biz suits and discussing biz...this is not a family hotel as there are no grounds per say....defintitely not a great place for kids or dogs. Very Small bathrooms, altho nice, but only one person at a time, unless one is in the shower. Detached and pricey garage ($20 nite)....you have... more

Average hotel. Limited bathroom supplies, nice shower, nice rooms. Very limited night menu. Internet is not available unless you pay 11.95 per day, Even business center charges 5 dollars for each ten minutes of internet use. In this day and age when even a cheap motel offers free internet, an expensive hotel like Westin essentially blocking you out of internet... more

I stayed here for 1 night using Starwood's C&P program. As a Platinum, I did not get any discernible upgrade. Like most US Westins, there was no Club Lounge. The lobby and bar areas were quite clean and inviting. The room itself was showing it's age. I had been here back in 2003 and it was pretty good back then.... more

I don't really have much to say about this Westin but....... The lobby, bedroom and overall property was on par with any typical Starwood hotel. Unfortunately, that level of quality did not make it into the bathroom. Yes this is an older property and it is evident that, though there was a recent renovation, they did not spend the money... more

This hotel was good. The rooms were clean, the double-headed shower is fun, the beds were comfortable, the restaurant in the hotel (though expensive) was good, the coffee shop was convenient, it was right next to a mall (yay!), and it was right next to the freeway. Also, there's very nice waterfall/pool area and a nice gym. For the price,... more

Recently opted to stay at the Westin South Coast location on a trip with the kids to Disneyland/CA Adventure. Even though it was a little drive up to the theme parks each day, the location offered my wife and I a little opportunity to enjoy the adult theme park called South Coast Plaza. We found the most of the staff... more

This is a comfortable Westin located just across the street from South Coast Plaza and convenient to the 405, 55 and 73 Freeways. Rooms are modern and comfortable and fairly large compared to other hotels in the area. The pool area is fairly small, though, and this would not be the best choice if you're on vacation with kids and... more

I originally booked the Wyndam, then after reading negative reviews both here and on other hotel review websites, felt that I would be better safe than sorry and switch to the Westin. What a mistake that turned out to be. I know that people do not like to read negative reviews and I'll probably get "review not helpful" ratings, and... more

First impression - the property is difficult to find. When we were driving down the street, there is no signage at ground level as you approach the property. We ended up having to cut through a restaurant's valet line. Sure, there is a big Westin sign at the top of the hotel, but that doesn't help if you are driving... more
