This visit (June 8) was our second stay with the hotel. Both times we had friendly, efficient service. Rooms clean, nice lobby. This time even a full breakfast complimentary. Hotel is convenient to 405 and also not too far from Newport Beach. Good value overall. more

The outside of this property dates it. The lobby is very modern and attractive. The rooms are large. The bathroom could have used some updating. The tub was very rough looking as well as the bathroom tile. I am still confused as their website says they include the breakfast buffet. We stayed in this attractively updated little hotel - a short walk to South Coast Plaza and within striking distance of several other shopping centers. The rooms are good sized and while the neighborhood isn't anything special - the central location and proximity to the 405 freeway make that fact unimportant. I booked thru Hotwire and ended up getting 2 rooms here. Based on my research of the property before we went, I set my expectation low (I had unpleasant experience in the past with HI chain). The beds, pillows and shower are the best at this hotel. Loved the "pillow menu". Lounge was nice though a little pricey. Pool and spa area was very, very nice.
