It is an older hotel built in the 60's. There is no reception parking for check in and the lobby is small. The front desk they were very nice and I got upgraded to a 2 bedroom, 3 bed with living room and kitchen. Spacious. Lacking in power outlets in the bedrooms but a good desk for a laptop with... Let me first preface this review by stating 2 things: 1) my sole purpose was a first-time visit to SF (aka tourist), and 2) I visited mid-week in January (slow season for tourists). I am a thrifty traveler so wasn't willing to spend the money for a 4 or 5 star hotel in the city, although I'm sure that would... More

Initial appearances are not arresting as the place seems a little dated but we had a large, spacious unit which accommodated the five of us quite comfortably. The best thing about this place is how close it is to the fab shops just a couple of blocks away. We had several lovely meals there and enjoyed the convenience of the... More

Spent a week here over the holidays while visiting family in the area. King bed in the bedroom and sleeper sofa in the living room was perfect for three of us. Having the kitchen with full size fridge worked out well too. Need to add a strainer to the kitchen supplies for making pasta. Shopping center close enough to walk... More

We were here for 3 nights and were treated very well by the desk staff. Our room was 2 BR on the ground floor, and in spite of other reviews, it wasn't overly noisy. Our room faced the courtyard which was very pretty, and our other windows faced the parking lot. We had 3 TV's, 1 bathroom, and a kitchen.... More

My boyfriend and I take day/weekend trips out to the Bay every so often, and I usually just try to find something with decent reviews that's not too expensive yet close enough to the City to be worth it. This hotel FAR exceeded my expectations; I found myself wishing we had stayed more than just one night. The place was... More

I've been here 5 days, nursing my son who had surgery nearby. We have 3 more days to stay here. Honestly, the place is making my skin crawl. The level of crud, waxy smeary ew all over the doors, doorknobs, lightswitches, kitchen utensils, pubic hairs in the corners of the bathroom floor....bought Clorox wipes at the Safeway to try to... Needed a place to stay overnight and rooms in the City were very expensive. Got a 2 queen suite for $139. It was a 20 minute drive from the city during non-rush hour traffic. The room was clean and looked like it had just been updated, with a kitchen, living room with a queen pullout bed and separate bedroom with... More

We make the trek up to the bay area every thanksgiving. This is the first time we have stayed somewhere where we felt like it was a real home away from home. The homes are spacious and beautiful There is a pool and jacuzzi. There is an area with flat screen tv's and a fire pit that is covered so... More

We spent three nights here while in the Bay Area for a wedding. We had a large, comfortable suite--one bedroom, large living room, kitchen and bath. The building wears its 60 years pretty well, although there was mold around the bathroom window, not enough three-prong outlets, and the "sharp" knives in the kitchen weren't. We also woke up to noise of... More
