I would have given it 5 stars for the service and charm, but I know some people do not like older vintage places like this. Bathrooms are generally small and décor from back in time. I however, love it! We had a huge group stay here for our daughters wedding in Coronado. The hotel was close to the church and... More

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights. The location of the hotel is the only thing that's great about this place. I really don't understand the high reviews it has received. It's very on par with a basic Best Western or Holiday Inn hotel. When we checked in, they told me if you don't find any parking at... More

We stayed here for 6 nights in October 2014 - in a junior suite. The positives: suite was a good size with two bathrooms, great location on the main street of Coronado, very attentive staff at the front desk, has a timeless/yesteryear feel to the place. The cons: the property is getting dated - our room was clean however there... More

This is a great small hotel across the street from the Hotel Del and at the end of the main downtown area of Coronado, and as the name suggest, on the bay. The best thing about this hotel is the service. Everyone we encountered was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. We were helped with reservations for dinner and bike rentals. Both... More

We had originally reserved a room for three days, but this hotel was so perfect in so many ways that we decided to stay longer. The front desk did some juggling of rooms to enable us to stay an additional three days! The location was perfect.... and beach chairs, towels, umbrellas and toys are available when heading down to the... More

My daughter and I stayed at the Inn last year in November and I can't believe I neglected to write a review! We will be staying there again next month so I thought I would go ahead and write the review a year late. We stayed in a contemporary one bedroom suite behind the mansion which was spacious, clean, comfortable,... More

Second trip there and even more pleasant than the first. In addition to a gorgeous facility, it had great service, perfect location and all of the amenities we wanted. Kudos to the staff for going the extra mile again and again, including assisting me carrying laundry to the in house facilities. I lack sufficient superlatives to adequately describe our experience.

This is our second visit. We were in the Sugar Baron Suite. The balcony and view are worth it. We enjoyed the breakfasts and bedtime snacks. The location is terrific and it certainly less hectic than the Del. Walking distance to the beach and great dining. Parking included. Staff was great as usual. It was warm during our visit, only... There arel no words to describe this little hidden gem in Coranado. From the photos and even when you walk by it could seem that this is a motel type Inn. But it's truly more than that. The service is exemplarly, the accomodations a class act. My only suggestoin to the hotel is to find an easier solution to the... More

Very well managed and excellent service all around. Had the opportunity of staying in both a standard room and a mansion room. There are many standard rooms, you may have to look at the one you are offered and maybe request a change. Mine was large and comfortable but next to the service area and smelled a bit musty. Conversely,... More
