Stayed with my wife for 3 days April 26-28. Stayed in Mansion room 126 (The Rooster room) The true value of the mansion is in its proximity to everything charming in Coronado. The mansion itself is small by "Mansion" standards. Yet it is cozy and a safe place for a retreat. Customer service is the trademark. The front desk staff... more

My husband booked us here for a quick one-night stay in San Diego, and this was a nice adults-only getaway for us. He was getting an award at a ceremony at the Hotel Del Coronado. He tried to book us into a room at the Hotel Del, only to be told they had a 2-night minimum. They didn't care that... more

We were expecting a bit more based on the reviews. Room was very nice but older, not completely maintained. We were hoping to use the pool but it was too cold (the kids visiting from Russia seemed to enjoy it!). more

I stayed here based on the tripadvisor reviews (many were accurate). The staff was excellent, particularly Gloria and the men who staffed the front desk. Upon arriving a bellman helped me to the room. When we walked in the room in was hot, smelly, very musty. He tried to open the windows, only a few would open. The bathroom window... more

We went to Coronado for a long weekend and debated between the Hotel Del and the Glorietta Bay Inn. We are SO glad that we picked the Mansion at the Glorietta Bay Inn. The views of the bay were gorgeous and the rooms had so much charm (our room was also very comfortable and very clean). We went across the... more

We spent the 22nd and 23rd of February in the Sunset Room in the mansion part of the Inn. There are two parts to the property the Mansion, which is the Spreckels Mansion and the attached build on portion which is the Inn portion. The Mansion was built by Mr. Spreckels of the Spreckels sugar family. The Sunset room is... more

We have just returned home from a 10 day stay at the Glorietta Bay Inn. We had a wonderful time there and kudos go to the staff for their friendly, helpful attitudes. From the time we made our reservations, to checkin, throughout our stay and until we finally had to head home, everyone was wonderful. We were pleasantly surprised on... more

Earlier this month, my husband and I spent our anniversary in San Diego. We stayed in LaJolla, Coronado, and on the water near Seaport Harbor (I think that is what it is called). For our Coronado leg, we stayed at the Mansion at Glorietta Bay Inn. We could not have made a better choice. The location was perfect (right across... more

This is a beautiful property, in a lovely small town. It is located close to the beach and across from the famous Hotel Del Coronado. They have a great staff, especially Laura, at the desk. Our room was terrific and the grounds are marvelous. more

We stayed in the mansion area of the Glorietta Bay Inn in Coronado. We were in the Lurline Room (106) & were treated like royalty. The room is spacious with the most comfortable bed we've ever slept on. The chocolate cookies at the turn down service nightly was a treat & the cookies & milk were delicious. The breakfast in... more
