Love this tiny gem! From check in to check out everything and everyone was pleasent. Nice patio to sit and have coffee, room was clean and decor very nice. Bed super comfy and updated bathroom. Irene was so nice she also accommodated us when we decided to stay another nite at the last minute. :)

Pros: Very good value on a very expensive island for rooms. A beach like bungalow with access to all points on Coronado Island. Cons: Understand that several things are under renovation such as fixing the light that stays on with the overhead fan. Watch the corners of the bed frames Location: Three blocks from the ferry to San Diego and... More

Room #4 is perfect for a single person, and at $120/night was above-average because of good quality bedding, excellent Wi-Fi speed, micro-fridge, cleanliness, and a ceiling fan (wiring is fine). However, I felt pretty unsafe the whole time, because of the following three reasons: 1) No one available. I was in by 6pm, and out by 9am each morning and... More

Thank you so much for your review. We are placing cameras around the premises this week. The police department is 3 blocks away from us. As soon as we knew about this external person “looking for someone” we contacted immediately to the authorities and other Hotels in the area. Police came to the hotel to interview guests, and it look... More

The best part of this motel is it is clean. The room was just fine but book to the back of the motel otherwise you will get a lot of street noise. great location, you can walk to everything. Staff was nice and enjoyed the front patio to sit and visit. I wish the towels were a bit bigger but... More

We went with our daughters. We got there at 5pm Friday, no parking on the front, we had to figure out how to get to the alley... Finally got a spot. We got there office closed. We called from a phone outside the office and got instruction on to how to get the key to our room. Easy. We got... More

Beware of this place! There are so many great places to stay in Coronado and I have stayed in most. Will never stay here again. This is the worse place I have ever stayed in the world! Its true you get what you pay for I guess. Spend a few $ more and you'll be much happier. Issues... 1. Upon... More

We are so sorry for your experience. Thank you so much for the time to write this detailed review. We are new management and we are working very hard to upgrade the motel. The hotel is situated at a good spot on the Coronado island. BUT the heavily trafficated street just outside our room (nr 1) kept me awake sometimes... The room was clean and we can't complain about anything regarding to cleanliness etc.

If you've never been to Coronado, CA. It's an expensive community of manicured properties. The Motels there are priced accordingly. This place is very inexpensive, and it shows. Room 10 is tiny. The quality of the contractors work is very poor. There isn't a straight line in the place. The A/C/Heater is noisy, You can't close the bathroom door unless... More

It's brightly lit at night- a assume for safety. The rooms are spacious and newly remodeled. The furnishings are all new as well as the applicances. The front desk clerk was very helpful. The room and the shower was very clean.

Ok the rooms are rather small...specially the economy ones, pay the difference for the standard! Pillows and mattress fantastic. Extremely clean. Unbeatable price... (About $100) I paid about the same in a hotel in Chula Vista -NO COMPARISON- To be completely frank you are paying for location. But none the less its lovely. Economy rooms great for traveling solo only.
