For someone not on a corporate expense account but wanting to spend more than normal for a truly outstanding stay, this isn't it. Over priced and the "charm" of the Del of the past is really missing. Stayed in the old hotel several years ago and that set my calibration. This wasn't even close. Left and went to the 1906... More

This hotel is gorgeous inside and out. very pricey but worth it at least once. The beach area is very clean and beautiful views. Within walking distance to several restaurants and lots of shopping. There is lots to see and do just in the hotel itself without having to venture out.

Our property was built in 1888, and it’s a joy to realize that our visionaries looked out on and took pleasure in the same view that we do today. The timeless elegance of the Del, and the modern luxury of Beach Village become almost superfluous next to the natural beauty of Corondo’s shores; though we do like to think they... More

We spent 4 nights at the Beach Village. The room was beautiful and well appointed. They even baby proofed the room for our infant son upon our arrival. The service was excellent as well from the servers to the bell boys and the concierge, everyone was very accommodating. The pools and grounds were beautiful. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet with... Thank you very much for your review. I am delighted that you and your family enjoyed the time you spent at Beach Village. We take great pride in the comforts and services we offer, and protecting our younger guests from hanging cords and sharp edges is the least we can do! While I would have been happier had your stay... More

We have visited this hotel and famous icon many times in the past. The location is wonderful. We were not aware that the hotel had been sold in May 2014. What was wonderful in the past has been quickly let go. All of the chaise lounge pads in the Beach Village were threadbare. The wonderful service has disappeared. Apparently the... More

Thank you for taking the time to voice your concerns. As a repeat guest, your feedback is essential in making sure that our property continues to strive to excel in our services and what we offer. I am truly sorry that this visit was not the exceptional experience you’ve had in years prior. We, too, found noise generated by the... More

We have been regulars at the Hotel Del -- specifically the Beach Village resort -- but will think twice next time. The evening we arrived we encountered an incredibly loud corporate "Orrick Litigation" party with a live rock band taking place on the main lawn at the center of the hotel. It was loud even inside our Beach Village cottage... More

Thank you for sharing your experience. We deeply regret your experience fell far short of not only your expectations but also the experience we have consistently grown accustomed to providing. During your visit, numerous beach functions created a less than ideal scenario for guests who came to visit hoping to enjoy the peace and tranquility of Coronado's seashore. On top... More

My wife and I have been coming to Beach Village for 10 years now. I think it gets better every visit. Just spent the last 4 days on a long weekend trip and it was fantastic. Staff is the best in the business. From valet to Windsor Cottage staff to senior staff, everyone is so friendly and helpful. Really no... More

When we stayed at the Beach Village on the North side of the Hotel Del Coronado we seemed to leave the hustle and bustle of the world behind. We were greeted by several staff members who were very in tune with what we were looking for in a retreat. Our room faced the ocean and was very well appointed. During... More

The Beach Village contains absolutely lovely cottages and condos, that are impeccably furnished and maintained. I honestly cannot say enough about how beautifully appointed the rooms are. Feels like you are living the lifestyle of the rich and famous...and you better be, because the pricing is not even in the realm of a normal person. We splurged on this, at... More

Like you, we are very disappointed that your experience at Beach Village was not everything that you imagined. We take great pride in providing beautifully decorated, luxurious accommodations in a world class location, but Beach Village is so much more. Without a doubt, residing next to next to a legendary and iconic 127 year old hotel makes the location a... More

We have stayed here multiple times and loved it but this time we stayed at Beach Village (the supposed upscale cottages) because we had a large group coming in town for a party. They misrepresented the description of the room (it's just a larger hotel room). They claimed it had a kitchen and living area and it didn't. They also... More

Please let me first thank you. As difficult as it is to read about our guests less than exceptional experiences the feedback is priceless. It is concerning that your room type was not effectively communicated to you. We take many opportunities throughout the reservation process to clarify our room types; whether it be online with our room maps and tours... More

We booking stays at The Del's Beach Village for a number of years but our last visit to Beach Village was terrible. We were there to celebrate our 27th Wedding Anniversay. The trip started out well enough but quickly turned into the worst hotel experience we've ever had. The first night of our stay we had an extremly large and... More

Like you, we are extremely disappointed by your recent experience. It simply does not exemplify the Beach Village you have grown to love.
