$1700 a night aint what it use to be!!!! Not worth the stupid prices thry charge and they nickel and dime you to DEATH!!! The staff knows nothing about nothing! We stayed in the BEACH VILLAGE and dont expect better service. They allow RIF-raf wonder through the hotel and will seat them for dinner BEFORE us that is paying $1700... more

There can be no better setting then the island of Coronado, the perfect weather, the cool ocean breeze and the total ambiance of relaxation. This was the perfect backdrop for me and my husband's honeymoon. The Beach Village at the Del is beautiful, It is designed to be an exclusive tucked away resort right next to the beautiful and historic... more

Left the Hotel Del Coronado (what a dump) after a 1 night horrible experience and checked in to the Beach Village for the remaining 5 nights of our vacation. There is NO comparison between the 2 properties. The price is higher, but you are getting so much more for your money (new property, clean and spacious rooms, great views, private... more

My husband and I just got back from spending 3 glorious nights at the Del Village at Coronado and we absolutely loved it. We did shell out some pretty pennies for a beachfront cottage room, but we booked it when they had their 50% off sale so it was a great deal. What we loved: 1) The VIEW! We had... more

I splashed out on room at Beach Village as this would be undoubtedly the last holiday with my, now 17year old son. Our room was beautiful, on 1st floor overlooking the beach and boardwalk, with balcony complete with rocking chairs and table. I had hoped for a ground floor room with fire pit, but on seeing the rooms I was... more

First let me say that $950 a night rooms are not what they used to be. We just returned from a stay in the Beach Village Cottages (front row right on the beach in Coronado. The Del has always been a destination spot (lots of tourists visiting the property without staying) so we were delighted to try the Beach Villages... more

My husband and I just stayed at the Beach Village at the Del Coronado Hotel! It was spectacular!! The rooms were fabulous with a fireplace in the bedroom, sunken tub, private outdoor hot tub, flat screen TV's and great views of the ocean and beach. The breakfast that is included was very good with lots of fresh fruit and variety.... more

This is the perfect beach retreat on Coronado Island. If you're heading to San Diego and really want to splurge, you'll love the Beach Village at the Del. It has all of the advantages of staying at the Del, but it's more secluded and less crowded than the main resort. There are a number of different cottages and villas. We... more

We spent April vacation at the Beach Village and it was well worth it. I had originally booked a Jr. suite at the mail hotel but cancelled based on TripAdvisor reviews. At the last minute we decided to splurge and stay at Beach Village instead of Homewood Suites. It was well worth it. Right from the time we arrived the... more

Our family took our Spring Break at The Del this past year. What a great experience. We stayed in a Junior Suite room in one of the cottages. We had a direct view of the beach with no obstructions. The beds and linens were great. I don't know if it was the sea air or the great mattress, but I... more
