This precious little motel is perfect for the budget minded who want a spotless place to stay. We booked 15 rooms for a family reunion and their intimate courtyard suited us to a tee. The continental breakfast had yogurt, cereal, bagels, sweet rolls, orange juice and plenty of fresh fruit. We were able to enjoy breakfast in the Courtyard, knowing... More

First the good. Free breakfast, which is served buffet style outside - coffee, water and tea all day. There are gas grills and kitchens if you want to cook your own food. The room is clean and maintained during the stay. The location is awesome - it is a couple blocks walk to the pier for easy access to the... More

If the rooms were better kept, this would be a 4 star place to stay. Our room faced a parking lot so no view and not a good place to relax, but the location is great. Close to the ferry landing and steps away from restaurants and shops. The front desk was wonderful and helpful. There are water bottles available... More

I will start with the positives and then with the negatives. The Positives are, this is a great location. You are about a mile and a half from the beach (The Del Hotel) and walking distance to great restaurants and shops. In the summer Coronado Island runs a free shuttle so that makes it even better. They have a free... More

If you're looking for a place to stay on Coronado Island that won't break your bank account, this is the place. They don't have all the fancy amenities, but their customer service is excellent. The staff is friendly. The rooms are clean. We had two rooms for 6 nights and were very happy with our stay.

This is a hard review --- I want to like this local quaint hotel. But the negatives far out weight the positives. POSTIVES: Location, location, location. Great access to all of the military bases on island. If you have business in downtown San Diego – just a quick hop over the bridge or take the FERRY. Restaurants are within walking... More

We were actually in two separate rooms and each of the rooms had terrible morning traffic noise. The curtains in the rooms could be updated so they keep the light out too. The bed in the first room was terrible and so broken it needed to be replaced immediately. Luckily they switched us rooms after the first night, and the... More

We stayed in one of the 'large kitchen suites' as all of their regular rooms were sold out. The suites are fairly large, but extremely overpriced for what it is; the carpets were dirty (our socks actually turned brown), the walls look old and the paint was peeling, the bedding was ripped, both mattresses was very uncomfortable, the shower stall... Stayed the night before my conference started because I didn't want to wake up super early and drive down from Orange County. Room was basic but did offer a microwave which I don't recall ever seeing in a regular inn room. Continental breakfast served at lobby patio. Front desk was friendly, helpful and efficient. Wife was able to use the... More

Stayed in Coronado for a weekend getaway. Loved the location..minutes from shopping and beach. Everything in walking distance. Room was clean. Staff was friendly and always welcomed me with a smile . The front desk addressed me by name each time I visited. Enjoyed the complimentary coffee
