I was traveling for work, and stayed a single night. Normally we are booked in 4 star hotels, so I have high expectations. Due to the economy I elected to stay here. I must say that is was the cleanest room I have ever stayed. That included high priced 5 star "luxury" hotels. The bathroom was VERY small, and the... more

I had business in the area, and this hotel seemed to be popular with Tripadvisor members. I arrived to the hotel at 11:45 PM after an earlier check in. The parking lot was nearly empty, so I assumed guests would be scattered and the hotel would be quiet. I was awakened at 12:30 AM by guests in the room next... more

Pretty dingy overall. I requested a fridge and a microwave in my room, which were provided for an extra $10 a night (Walnut Creek provides them for free). The fridge was dirty on the outside and the inside. Noise in the parking lot sounded like it was in my room. My co-worker staying a few doors down had someone pounding... more

While traveling to Concord, CA on business, we discovered that we would indeed need to find a hotel and one that would welcome our dog. The Holiday Inn had room (though just barely...next time we will get reservations as they have a lot of conventioneers) and welcomed our dog with only a $10 non refundable pet fee. Other surrounding hotels... more

My phone was left behind at the front desk. The staff denied ever having it (including the person it was directly given too). After having them review the surveilance tape and putting some pressure on the staff, it miraculously appeared. They said it was under some things in the lost and found. LIE! When I got it back my phone... more

After a horrible experience at the Marriott in Pleasant Hill, I contacted the Holiday Inn at 1050 Burnett Ave. in Concord as I have stayed there before and never been disappointed. I had 3 days left on my visit to the area, I never book my full trip when using an outside booking service such as priceline or hotwire as... more

We just returned from a 3 night stay at The Concord Holiday Inn. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast selection was standard, but service in the restaurant was well above average. more

I stay in the Walnut Creek/Concord area anywhere from 25-35 times a year and I've stayed at many of the places. I typically use Priceline in that I get the same 4 places every time so I know what to expect. However, I have stopped using Priceline in that I get THIS Holiday Inn nearly every time. I have been... more

Very friendly people at the desk, they kept on bragging about their new beds. I thought it was a lot of hype, but it truly was a great bed and I had a great nights rest. I would revisit this hotel again because of the bed and the people at the desk. The rooms were like a normal Holiday, simple... more

I booked this hotel because it had good reviews about service. The beds are the best. I had the best sleep!! The staff here is very nice and the clerk at check out asked about my stay and told her I loved the bed. She said they just got the new pillow top beds put in. more
