We recently spent several nights here. This place is so cute with tons of charm! The buildings and signs fit right in with the historic setting of Columbia. Very nice! The staff are super friendly and helpful. It seems like there is nothing they won't do for you! They really go out of their way to make sure you have... More

This was a nice friendly campground. The owner was a nice older man who was around everyday. The staff helped you park and made sure that everything was perfect. Each night "Cricket" sang songs by the campfire and made s'mores for everyone. The campground is within walking distance of the town of Columbia which is a well maintained and restored... More

I worked at this facility for over a year and can tell you first hand that they threaten your health and well being. There are NO fire marshall inspections of ANY of their buildings. Look for the required room capacity posting. There are none! The bathroom in the back of the big "Barn" dumps into a 55 gallon drum out... More

We had some time off from work so we headed to the "gold country". This was the 1st and not the last time we'll stay at this campground. This campground has history, character and a REALLY nice staff. Take advantage of the fire side get-together and old fashion, sincere, hospitality. Learn to gold pan on this property too. I wish... It was our RV groups 2nd time to this rv campground, our first. We loved it. From the gentlemen who guided you into your spot to Cricket who built the camp fire, sang and provided smores, we had a wonderful time. One of our group arrived at 9 in the evenning and there was still someone to help them. Friday... More

Our RV club stayed there last weekend. The park has a nice, woodsy atmosphere. The sites are nestled among trees. The management leaves out magazines and books to borrow, and there are snacks offered, as well as live music. You can walk to Columbia State Historic Park, but I recommend driving, since the walk back is up a mean hill.... More

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our three boys had a great time panning for gold and hanging out at the campfire with a friendly character named Cricket who hosts the nightly campfire. Our site was a level gravel area that was shaded in the afternoon. Cricket pointed out the blackberry bushes next to our... More

We have been to this park at least 3 times with our RV club, the latest being 7/1-7/5/13. The owners and staff are very welcoming and go out of their way to make your stay the best. Some of the sites are a little tight but you are assisted in parking and they will park your rig with their equipment... More

We stayed here over the Memorial Day Weekend and it was just great. The staff here was fantastic! Very friendly and helpful. Albeit, the sites are a bit crowded together and the place is a bit small but they do a great job of guiding you in/out of your site. The store is fairly well stocked with not only food/beverages... It begins at the check-in desk.....a genuine feeling of caring and friendly group that are eager to help. It was/is apparent with the rest of the crew as well.....just a really friendly, helpful bunch. We arrived in time for the free Fri. evening chili-dog pic-nic. Met a number of the work campers, other guests and just a great time and... More
