I stayed here after a day of rafting and was so disappointed with the room. It was not only very outdated but, also pretty dirty. There were stains on the carpets, the wallpaper was filthy and there wasn't even a television or phone in the room. I will say that the food at the restaurant was very good, and thankfully... More

We stayed here after our white water rafting adventure. If you are looking for a fancy hotel this isn't it, your reservation confirmation is the persons name whom you book the room with via phone. We stayed here after we called several hotels in the area and were all booked or required a two night stay. You check in at... More

In for a wedding. First off after seeing we are locked in to a two week cancelation policy... We arrive at midnight. The woman is put out that we arrived late even though we called at 4pm to say we were delayed. We get our room. #5 it's around the back in the pitch black. Hazard hazard hazard. Open the... More

We stayed here the night before we went white water rafting. We walked into the bar to check into our room and the gal checking us in was very friendly and professional. It is an old historic hotel. The beds were comfortable. The air-conditioner was a bit loud, but we just opened our windows to let the cool night air... More

We stayed here overnight while on a white water rafting expedition. Every hotel on the list we were given was booked full, but this one had vacancy and was only $89 per night. I would agree with the other reviewers that the bar was laid back, food was good, and the service was friendly. Then we got to our room...yikes... More

Staff very friendly, quick check in. Stayed in #4 the Bridal Suite, nicely decorated, up to date where it needs to be. Room decorations go with the period of the hotel. Bed & pillows comfortable. Big room. Food excellent. A must if you are in Coloma.

This is a great place for an escape in the picteresque town of Coloma. Bar is layed back and friendly, the bartender constantly runs an eclectic collection of concert videos, and is very friendly. We were checked in right there at the bar as we sipped our drinks, how many places can do that?! The restaurant was intimate and warm... More

The perfect place for a weekend of exploring the charming and historic town of Coloma. Stayed overnight in room #3, "the Bordello room" (directly above the bar) at he Sierra Nevada House and absolutely fell in love with everything, the bed and pillows were the most comfortable and the room extremely charming, "Lotus" the resident cat was cuddly and welcoming.... As a paranormal investigator this location was on our list of places to see. We arrived on the 26th of December and were the only guest present for the night. The room had been warmed and a note on the door instructing us on how to get into contact with the housekeeper if we had any other needs. The place... More
