We stayed here for two nights with our travel trailer and were happy that we chose this KOA. The KOA seems well maintained and the RV/camping sites were gravel, well spaced, level and pleasant. They have great views of the huge rock cliff behind as well as wide open views of the Walker Valley. We had a warm welcome at... More

Wonderful place smack dab in the middle of nowhere. Nice and new everything. I bicycled here from S. Lake Tahoe. Camp ground and lodge both excellent. Nice views, wide open spaces. There is a little store, restaurant and pool too.

We had to cancel our first scheduled stay here due to illness, but when I called the owner he was willing to let us change dates with no penalty. A very nice woman at Booking.com, where we had made the reservation, took care of this with no hassle. All in all, a pleasant surprise. The motel units are not perfect,... More

We had the chance to stop for one night on our way to Yosemite. The rock formation out back plus the views of the valley is awesome. The grounds are immaculate with pathways, flowers and trees. They also have a 20 room motel with great rooms. We were able to put our parents in a room and have some long... More

We used this KOA as our springboard into Yosemite NP (via the Tioga Pass). The campground was unexpectedly delightful and somewhat quaint. Dog park, showers, laundry all were good. Sites were gravel but clean and level with sewer at ground level (important). Unique among the KOAs we've visited, this one has actual motel rooms (we did not inspect.) The cliff... More

My husband and I spent two nights here. We had the King room with the kitchen. The patio doors looked out over the lawn and pastures. We enjoyed our stay, the place was quiet and clean. Wifi is a bit spotty, but it is a rather remote location so I was glad there was wifi. The decor is very 70's,... More

Stayed here one night on a tour of the Eastern Sierras. The rooms are big and clean but the decor is from the 1960s and the tv channels are basic. The beds were okay. Who cares when you can be outside enjoying the fabulous location? Kids enjoyed the pool and playing horseshoes, we all enjoyed the birds. Breakfast in the... More

A great place far away from the business of towns, experience stunning surroundings, a dark starry sky, sounds of silence, and take a fresh bath in the pool in the morning, do you need more? Yes, a super great breakfast in the restaurant, very good, very nice waitress and without plastic dishes....a seldom experience touring around CA.
