When we arrived at the hotel, we noticed a lot of security. At the time we weren't sure what was going on. We soon learned that one faction of the tribal council was attempting to take over the council, hotel, casino and all the operations. Had we known about this prior to our stay, we may have made other arrangements.... More

This place had pros and cons, but unfortunately the cons were worse. So I picked this place because we were going to Yosemite for a few days and on the website it looks very nice. An arcade that looks really fun, and lots of great restaurants I want to try, great pool etc. So we arrive, and it looks just... More

Not really great for families with small children, as the Casino frowned upon children venturing into the arcade (which was huge). Which really left us one hotel eatery. The food was tasty, and relatively cheap..I guess they make their money on the gambling! Huge...huge portions make it difficult to find suitable options for those of us with standard appetites. Doggy... More

Very pleased with our selection. The staff was responsive to every request including where to get some grocieries. There was some sort of glitch when we left so we couldn't use our "points" in the casino, but with all the friendly staff apologizing, we hardly cared. Everyone remembered us after the first day from the restuarant, the bakery and pool.... More

We found this place by accident. We were advised by friends to find a place in Oakhurst when visiting Yosemite . Online we couldn't find any available rooms in Oakhurst. My wife found The Cukchansi in the AAA guide book. It is a fairly new Hotel, very reasonable rates (less than Oakhurst) and the room was beautiful. Every one we... More

We arrived here by accident. Our original choice hotel was fully booked and this was the closest to Yosemite our travel agent could get us. The rooms are large and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a smallish pool & spa. A selection of restaurants from a buffet to a noodle bar, hot dog diner, burger bar... More

My wife and I stayed here prior to visiting Yosemite. It's a nice resort in a convenient location. We checked in around 11 pm or so, and there was no one working registration due to a shift change. We had to wait about 20 minutes before someone showed up, which was rather inconvenient. The room was quite nice, though, and... More

We went for an overnight get-a-way. Room as nice - loved the shower, nice strong water stream. Room has a Keurig coffee maker, next time I am bringing my favorite coffee! Casino was nice, good games, and not too crowded even on a Friday night! We ate breakfast in Goldfields Cafe, good food and we had a great view on... More
