WE stayed at Harris Ranch on Aug 7. We were driving from SF to San Diego and decided to take a break from driving. I googled ideas and Harris Ranch seemed to be a good central point to stay. Room was very nice, clean, comfortable. I asked for a refrigerator when making reservation, and it was in our room...plugged in... More

Harris Ranch hotel, restaurant, gift shop is an oasis in the middle of absolutely nothing.....other than cows. Lots of cows. This is the part of I-5 where you have to hold your nose as you drive through. Surprisingly enough though Harris Ranch doesn't always have that stench. Certainly not in the rooms. Depending on the weather, winds, etc there may... More

Our family comes here a couples of times a year for the past 10 years. This is mainly our stop on the way back to the Bay Area from SoCal. The kids love staying over and dining at their restaurant. The inn is also pet friendly too! That is a plus! There is free wi-fi, but very slow or no... More

We stopped here midway traveling back from the American river to Orange County as there are not many options. The staff was very nice, facility was clean and well kept and the pool was nice and warm. It was wonderful to relax at the pool after traveling 3 hours in the car. We ate at the main restraunt for dinner... More

On our way to Los Angeles on Hwy 5 we have passed Harris Ranch many times always stopping at the restaurant for breakfast in the morning on the way down and lunch on the way back. Recently we decided to stay overnight at the hotel on the property . It was so very nice and comfortable with lovely pool and... More

We decided to break our drive from LA to SF up and bit, and stayed at the Harris Ranch Inn for one night. The compound's exterior layout is very impressive: the massive pool, the restaurants, etc. The service at the front desk is friendly and generous (yes, free almonds and cookies!) The interior of the rooms, however, is more like... More

To say there's not much in Coalinga is a colossal understatement. But this place is truly an oasis. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. It is convenient, right off I-5, and and very handy. The prices are a bit high, but you do get what pay for. Meal and bar is great.

This hotel may have been great when it was new but the owners have let it slip and it shows. -Rooms are not clean. The housekeeping management are missing alot including carpets, drapes, walls, doors etc. -Lighting- Whether in the restaurant, the rooms or common areas, this hotel has the worst lighting I have ever seen. It makes the bathroom... More

Driving frm SF to LA on I5 must be most boring with nothing but endless barren landscape. When it came lunch time with nothing better than Taco Bell within sight, the restaurant at Harris Ranch appeared like mirage in the dessert. The 16oz prime rib more than enough for 2 with salad at $36 is heavenly delicious & unbeatable. Seems... More

This is the Oasis in the hot Desert. I stayed in July 2014 and booked direct through their web site. Rooms are high end for the area at $159-199 +, but again this is a resort hotel. Grounds are beautiful and well kept, rooms are adequate & stylish. Wooden Chairs look attractive in their rustic home-crafted appearence, but they are... More
