Ah, Harris Ranch. Incredible beef, fresh squeezed OJ, fresh warm baked bread. The restaurants at Harris Ranch are a bit pricey but the quality is well worth it. The Prime Rib and Rib Eye Steak are to die for! The breakfast's are large and well served too. I have been going to Harris Ranch on and off for more than... more

We alway enjoy stopping at Harris Ranch on I - 5 road trips. This visit was like many others, a very pleasant overnight stay. We have a dog, so it's nice to have a place like Harris Ranch, where our well - behaved pet is also welcome to stay. There's a nice dog walking area at the back of the... more

We needed to break up the 10 hour drive from Las Vegas to the bay area and had eaten at Harris Ranch several times, so we decided why not stay. The room was large, comfortable, and clean. Also, we were able to order room service from the restaurant-yummy. It was not cheap. The room was aprox $135 with our AAA... more

There are not a lot of good hotel options on Hwy. 5 between Southern California and Sacramento/Bay Area...Harris Ranch is a perfect midway place to stay if you want to break up your trip. Hotel was clean, safe, close to the freeway but away from highway noise, and adjacent to a wonderful restaurant. Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed relaxing... more

Harris Ranch is a diamond in the desert! The rooms, service, food--everything is top notch. I'm going back in a couple of weeks and bringing two Navy execs with me. Excellent. Jules more

Chose this place to stay while driving from SF to SD for several reasons. a) great, halfway location, b) dog friendly, c) love the beautiful tile work in the restaurant building The pool and spa area are beautiful..an oasis in that long, often hot, drive from SF to SD. The restaurant building is very attractive old California and the tile... more

I've stayed at the Harris Ranch Inn three times over the span of about 10 years. This last time was on a drive home from Napa. Overall, I really like the Harris Ranch. I just think it's pretty cool to pull off the boring long highway and find such an oasis of restaurants, bar, store, hotel and beautiful swimming pool... more

Traveling from Sacto to LA, thought this was a good midstop for our family. Check in was instantaneous and friendly. Spacious king-sized room was set up as desired with roll-away cot. Helpful toiletries and a view of the pool were nice. The big negative: I'd always known Coalinga was smelly, but was told the cows were 3 miles away. Well... more

We were traveling up to San Francisco and needed a quick night stay over due to poor weather. The grapevine was snowed in and closed so we needed to detour out of our way. We stayed at Harris Ranch and had a great time. The room was simple but comfortable. Everything was very clean. We were greated with 4 fresh... more

We stayed for one night on our return from Southern California. I have always wanted to try their Steakhouse. The hotel looked pretty on the website but I was concerned about the photos of the rooms. They looked pretty bad but I hoped for the best. On arrival they gave us a room in a lower south wing. Before we... more
