Driving frm SF to LA on I5 must be most boring with nothing but endless barren landscape. When it came lunch time with nothing better than Taco Bell within sight, the restaurant at Harris Ranch appeared like mirage in the dessert. The 16oz prime rib more than enough for 2 with salad at $36 is heavenly delicious & unbeatable. Seems... More

This is the Oasis in the hot Desert. I stayed in July 2014 and booked direct through their web site. Rooms are high end for the area at $159-199 +, but again this is a resort hotel. Grounds are beautiful and well kept, rooms are adequate & stylish. Wooden Chairs look attractive in their rustic home-crafted appearence, but they are... More

There are very few nice places to stop or stay on I-5 between L.A. and San Francisco (unless you really love fast food and basic motels). Harris Ranch is a very nice place. I took away a star for three reasons. First, there was a fair bit of poop stain on the underside of the toilet ring from previous guests... More

Good place to stopover on long drag between LA and San Francisco. Rooms are good sized but a bit dated. They are well maintained. The connected restaurant is seemingly a big deal. Saw large beef joints being smoked outside as we left. We tried breakfast to set us up for the day. All was good. Tried to order a boiled... More

While pricier than Motel 6 or Best Western you get what you pay for. Great night's sleep, comfortable bed, reliable AC (not those crazy blower units like at cheaper hotels) and the Kuerig was a nice touch. The restaurant is amazing - best steak and eggs ever. Good job, Harris Ranch.

It was on my list of places to stay. We have traveled by and stopped and eaten but had never been here at the right time to stay. I expected a lot and was not disappointed. The staff is amazing from the time you call and make a reservation to the time you arrive. The room was very comfortable. Wonderful... More

my family and i stayed 1 night on our way to tahoe this weekend. the rooms were large clean and had every amenity. we arrived earlier than expected, and the restaurant easily moved our reservation. then we went swimming in the huge heated pool. everything was hassle free, so nice these days. if i can say the only drawback, which... For years, this was good stopover for gas, rest and lunch between Los Angeles and San Francisco. So, when I had business in a town near Harris Ranch, I chose to stay at the inn for two nights. Within 5 minutes of checking into the first room, I found a cricket crawling on the floor. I asked for another room.... More

Stopped for the night on the way south from Washington. We were greeted at the front desk with cookies and almonds. The room was wonderfully appointed and large. The bathroom shower was huge. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Would definitely stay again

The first room that we checked into, was a deluxe queen with seating area/balcony. However the balcony over looked a boiler, I asked if we could be moved, as this wasn't what I expected. I was upgraded to an Executive Suite at no extra cost. The restaurant was good, I don't eat meat, but there were several none meat starters... More
