My husband, 11 yr old son and 5 yr old daughter stayed two nights at this hotel. The "cow" smell definitely preceded the hotel. We arrived late Friday night so had only a quick view of the grounds. We noted on our way in there were several fast food locations close by. Check in was easy. We were told over... More

Oasis in reasonable expectation property to relax. Motif is of the props for an old cowboy and the old west ranch and the food he would eat. Big steaks are eye candy in the cooler are for sale and grab one. Store, bakery and three restaurants featuring their serving Harris Ranch steaks and meats. Three different price points different for... More

Booked Harris Ranch, because it was the only "decent" lodging within a 200 mile radius. The rates were a bit pricey, and the rooms were adequate, but the restaurant was STUNNING. Probably up ther with any 5 star in Toronto or New York. The staff were great. The suite was a bit dated, and the bathroom could use an update,... More

This property is beautiful as the reviews state. However, the front desk does need a few brush ups on hospitality, especially in the smile and gratitude departments. The check in was easy but there was no enthusiasm from the clerk. We could have been checking into a budget motel and received the same type of uninterested manners. When we called... More

After driving for 13 hours from Oregon, suffering a blowout and getting two new rear tires put on the car, we arrived for our first stay at Harris Ranch. Check in took maybe a minute, including being handed fresh cookies, yum. we were in our room dumping our bags and heading over to eat at their restaurant, which was fantastic.... More

We stayed one night on our way to Sonoma. Thus wasn't our first visit here. The rooms are spacious and decorated like old farmhouse with furniture made from logs. We had a balcony room overlooking the pool. The price is right at $199.00 including a $50.00 dining voucher. I really liked the Hotel staff as they were nice and give... More

Driving from Oregon to SoCal and this stop is one I look forward to every time. Was with wife and 2 young kids this time and while cheaper across the freeway it's very nice, quiet, clean and the pool is outstanding. And breakfast is always great...tri tip and eggs are great.

Shocked to find hotel on the most desolate section of I5 with charm and a patina of old cattle ranch days. The rooms are old, but well maintained. The grounds beautiful , the pool spectacular. The staff could be more professional, especially the front desk clerk. She was snippy and not hospitable . Needlessly say, not the way one wants to... More

The Harris Ranch Inn is right off the 5 Freeway and is a perfect stop-over place between Southern and Northern CA. There's not a lot to do in Coalinga... The hotel has a 25meter pool with marked lap lanes - perfect for swimming laps. They also have 3 spas located strategically throughout the Inn. One had wheelchair accessabiity. We asked... More

A place we have stopped many timesfor meals and potty brakes. We have always wanted to stay and on our recent trip to Disneyland we made a reservation. Our room was tiny although clean. We had a so called balcony with a view of the swimming pool pump and filter assembly covered over with some broken down dirty lattice. I... More
