The man that checked us in was very friendly and even recommended some places to go to for dinner, although i wish the process could have been a little faster. (It had been a long day and we had already waited through a 15 minute convo between him and the man in line ahead of us.) The parking lot is... More

The room was clean and lack personality. No where to hang up cloths. Ref. & Micro was great and did not use. Visited a few small stores in town and found a great statue that was worth while stopping and have a closer look at. We had visited a vinery and on out way to River Rock Casino for brunch.

I travel a lot and have stayed in many levels of hotels. This is a very small family owned hotel/motel but I felt completely safe traveling by myself. The linens smelled fresh and clean and I don't even get that in a 5* hotel. It felt homey and comfortable. As I walked out of my room at night I could... More

Arrived at 9pm and get a room to rest after a long way with the car. Nice motel with everything you need. Clean and comfortable with a good price! The bed is big, nice tv size and a fridge and coffee in the room (plus 4 towels in the bathroom - quite nice for a motel) Situated at the end... More

My wife and I were driving south on 101, and had seriously overshot our planned night stop. We had stopped at a gas station to get our bearings, and decided to stay in Cloverdale. Driving up the Main Street, the Vineyard had a vacancy sign lit up, so we stopped and made enquires about a room. This place is what... More

A charming and delightful experience. This older property has been tastefully brought up-to-date, yet retained the charm and relaxed, low-key ambience of simpler times. Simple earth tones, glazed ceramic floor tiles in the entry and dining areas, remote controlled ceiling fan, and flat screen HD TV contributed to a pleasant and comfortable stay. Our room was large, bright, airy and... More

We stayed here for two nights in September. Our challet/room had a double bed and twin beds in the adjoining Kitchen/eating room. There was a sink and microwave, but no kettle/coffee pot/plates/mugs/glasses etc. Breakfast was supplied - DIY toast and cereal. They have a lovely garden for sitting in but unfortunaltey the Inn is located at a busy junction which... More

We were driving through redwoods and needed to stop for night. We had a huge room for 3 people with 2 queens. It was the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in!! The decor was rustic with hammered metal bathroom counter over rustic bathroom counter. Room had a large old styled desk, as well as a 2 person table. Looked... More

If you expect very much at Vineyard Valley Inn, then you will be disappointed. The night we stayed there was noise outside the rooms until 11:30 pm and started back again at 3:30 am. There is no breakfast and if you are far from the desk, forget about the wifi working in your room. For the price and having to... More

About two weeks ago I was in Sonoma for a half marathon. Three weeks prior to this I made a reservation for 2 rooms with Vineyard Valley Inn to accommodate my mother in one room and me and my boyfriend in another. When we arrived to check in, the woman at the desk (with whom I believe I made the... More
